Something new that I've wanted to try for a while. Saw a tutorial on Pinterest and decided to give it a go. This is an 8 bit pixel art Mario made entirely out of bobble crochet stitches. It really is a fun and creative project that blends two fantastic mediums together into one awesome piece. It turned out to be about 9 in by a foot in diameter.

The hardest part of making this was the color changes and some rows have 3 or more colors and multiple back and forths between those colors. Also with those changes I carried the yarn over different colors so that I didn't have to continuously slip stitch back into the pattern and have a million little tails on the backside.

I would really like to try this techinque again with perhaps a bigger and more complicated pattern but I am thoroughly please with my first attempt.
