Day 14 of Inktober 2023. Today is Springtrap from Five Nights at Freddy’s 3

It’s the good old child murderer, William Afton! Springtrap is the best design in the franchise in my opinion and one of the exceedingly few characters that has a clear origin story. We know exactly who Springtrap is and who he was before and that’s a trait that is literally only shared by other versions of him and 2 of his 3 kids. And I guess the puppet? Personally, I think the games peaked at Pizza Sim (even though that game has by far the worst designs, like it’s not even a contest).

I got into FNAF about when to the second game dropped, I think, and I got pretty into the lore side of it back then (even if I quickly came to think Game Theory had no idea what they were talking about half the time, an opinion that I still hold. Just have a look at their Hollow Knight one to see what I’m talking about). I never read the books though, as far as I am concerned it’s an AU so you shouldn’t talk too much from one to understand the other. You shouldn’t read my comic to understand Undertale after all.
