hi all!so i was dicking around with fun adopt ideas and i ended up making a closed species.... oops.
a species guide is coming soon, but in short, merbites are magical creatures of the sea that live symbiotically---thats a fish attached to them! they are smaller than standard humans and can often appear quite androgynous. they dont have sexes or sexual organs and present however feels comfortable. they are typically vegetarian (well.... almost all of them are) and social creatures, the latter meaning that a sense of community is a very important pillar in the merbite species
1. vitiligo'd rockfish - based on a kelp rockfish, lives close to a field of kelp in which they live a quiet, peaceful life
2. crowntail betta - bounces often between being quite aggressive and quite sweet. is guilty of eating a lot and often.
3. the big tuna - made of pure confidence. very nice and is not as arrogant as one might think
4. chubby guppy - stumbles over their words a lot and has a knack at saying the thing opposite of what theyre meaning to say... oh geez.
