Atreo was born in The Goldenlands, his father Enzi was a leader of The Golden Pride. Atreo had to take the throne afther his father, but one day a few young and strong rogues came. They killed Enzi and chased away his only son Atreo. The Goldenlands lost their both leaders: current and future one. Atreo had no other choice as just to start life on his own. He wandered many territories and met many different lions; not all of them were friendly. One hot afternoon, Atreo came to the lands he hadn't heard nor knew before. Soon after he entered the unknown territory, a lioness appeard right in front of him. She wasn't very friendly to the young male, in fact she would have chased him away in minutes, but the look of Atreo stopped her. He was very tired of his journey; he didn't rest nor ate for days. And he was very thirsty. The lioness, whose name was Thema, pardoned the male and let him stay till the next morning. But everything changed that night... They both told each other about their past and somehow got closer and closer to each other. Thema was the only lioness in these lands and she often felt lonely. So the two soon became good friends and later mates. They started their own pride, took in a few lionesses and called the pride The Royal Pride and the lands The Pridelands. Soon Pridelands became a Kingdom and Atreo had his heir: three beautiful daughters. Just a few days later The Great Earthquake happened. All lions survived, but they also found a new place to live: a piece of a large rock splitt off and lions moved to it; Atreo called it The Pride Rock. But even then the bad times didn't pass so fast: hyenas showed up and tried to seize The Pride Rock. Atreo's pride fought them and chased to newly discovered place: The Elephant Graveyard.

Atreo was The First King of The Pridelands - The One Who Started It All. He was never forgot by the Kings or Queens of The Pridelands that ruled after him.

*Rinjapine inspired me to start doing this stuff. All those designs she's got, they're amazing. So, I thought, why not, I could draw the characters from TLK Universe in the ways I see it. There are lots of characters to do, but slowly I'll make them.
