Finally! My first animation on DeviantART
"To go beyond" was my final year project in university, it was my second piece of 2D animation that I actually complete.
It is just a very simple story set in a corner of the world about the affection between two individuals. Lives fade, lives continue, live to go beyond.
The whole piece was done in Photoshop and Imageready mainly, and edited in After Effect.
And for the music..
The background music is composed and copyrighted by me.

The moon came out from behind the clouds, and I just cried.
Maybe it was the culmination of the piano tinkling in the background, the misty, atmospheric pictures, or the connection between the too characters, but I think it was mostly the two of them, in the field, with that moon.

Oh! Now things make more sense like how the girl didn't age at all, but the woman did. I thought she was playing with a blood pressure monitor for some reason.
It was a very beautiful and moving work even considering how short it is.

wow the animation is fluid, interesting style by making the colors vibrate as the animators used to do in the past but on paper, the story is interesting, sad , the ambiance was very well supported by the music the entire time
and i love the piano. great job on composing the music
I'm going to do a story in 3D this end of the year for college and will also be animating.. doing the whole job even composing my own music stuff

And its funny...I actually have a story that is somewhat similar C=.
Except...Mine revolves around a young lady who saves a dog critter after his parents died.
And she later dies of Cancer or something :<.

The main focus in this piece isn't the voice actors, or the action scenes, it's the message at the end. And that sets it apart from others.
