Description
This image, created for use in my Graphic Novel Project represents a depiction of the Hindu Creation narrative. Here the eternal serpent Ananta-Shesha, floating through the emptiness of the universal ocean, the sleeping God Vishnu. From Vishnu's navel emerges a lotus, which in turn bears the Creator God Brahma, seated within. By Vishnu's command Brahma creates the world/cosmos, filling it with life. Also depicted is the Destroyer/Transformer God Shiva. Together these three deities represent the Trimurti, projections of a single Supreme Reality, with each member responsible for the maintenance of the universe through creation (Brahma), preservation (Vishnu) and destruction (Shiva).Having said that, this pic took a lot longer than I had hoped; in all the penciling and inking took 8 hours and the photoshoping took two days. But In All I'm rather happy with the way it turned out.

One thing though: could you draw their expressions with peaceful meditative smiles? I don't think Trinity is that scary...
