how can i possibly portray the particular pain of knowing that my grandpa is gone now? what can i possibly draw that would convey the fear of the inevitable and the pained feral cries that lie waiting in my throat? how does one possibly visualize the knowledge that their tears will flood oceans at the sight of the casket? how do i create the image of my rising agony, my desperation to keep that thread of life taught and unbroken?

the waiting; the limbo; the unknown; the inevitable. i cannot decide which is worse.
