Zombie Ringmistress Abigail takes a few moments to recooperate after a particularly gluttonous performance. She's accompanied by Sulfur, her Salamander protege and one of her "Freaks" from the aptly named "Freakshow" she fronts.

The Circus has a history shrouded in conspiracy as to where the volunteers TRULY end up after they are seemingly devoured alive at the shows.. There's no magic involved here..
