In some alternate univerese....How to Train Your Dragon was directed by Hayao Miyazaki.
something I've notticed in a lot of animated movies in recent years, there's always some huge influence from Miyazaki.

Looks great! Hiccup translates to Anime style quite well. And Toothless? Well, someone already said it, but he kinda looks like a pokemon. Which is awesome. "Toothless! I choose you!" Great poses!

I love this drawing! Hiccup's expressions plus Toothless looking like a total badass adds together so beautifully I would love to see more of this - you should do a comic of HTTYD in this style
