Was messing around today, decided I wanted to see what HTTYD would look like, anime style~So many anime styles possible! It's fun so I'll likely continue to experiment further

What's funny is how well this style actually captures the character (Hiccup, that is). Though Toothless's nose is a bit pointy.

Haha Yeahh! I'm so happy with it. I haven't felt this happy with a movie for a long long time.
I can rewatch it over and over to admire the camera choices, the music, the voice acting, the animation, the color and lighting etcetc augh.. just so much to gush over!

Just watched it today!! My most favorite 3D flick of the year next to Astro Boy...!
Man, I love the way you still care for mass & volumes even while rendering anime style. It makes for a totally believable style!! The movie style was kinda cute, too :'D

Haha naw, not just you! Gainax (FLCL and TTGL art to be specific) is one of my favorite inspirations for anime art (even though I never really finished either series... 
But anyway, funny you thought of Simon, since I kind of never looked at that poor guy. He's always overshadowed by Yoko and Kamina! lol!
