I've been catching up on warrior cats! Big shocker, the number one romance hater hates the romance plot line. Frostpaw is infinitely more interesting because she's actually trying to do things while Nightheart and Sunbeam are fucking around switching clans and thinking about maybe a war happening. my problem is that I'm more interested in whats happening IN RiverClan than the politics outside it, so I don't even really care that Squirrelstar is leader now, I just want to know what Splashtail is up to now. I genuinely think this arc would have benefited from having Frostpaw as a lone protagonist, emphasizing the isolation a clan might feel without a solid connection to StarClan. Also Sunbeam and Nightheart are literally never doing anything important.
