another drawing for school! I'm not nearly as proud of this one as I was of the previous project (Intertwined) but I really really like how Darkness (the tiger) turned out... I think I pinned down that style of fur for this. Anyway This is depicting Cornix's "reincarnation" after the death of Darkness. When Elementals die, a new one of that same element is born simultaneously. Cornix's status as the elemental of shadow went completely unnoticed for most of his life due to him living in the Endless Dark and being a Shadow Monster. He was simply labeled a prodigy and no one thought more of it. His predecessor Darkness on the other hand was extremely well known throughout SOL's Four Kingdoms and even into the Wasteland. Her birth was marked with the suns going dark in the first instance of anything resembling "night" SOL had in thousands of years.
