Elm was born to a young loner couple, and was taken care of by them for the first two moons of his life. Things went south when a predator took both of them, and he was terrified he would not survive. While he was looking around desperately for his parents or food to eat. This is when he ran into the cats going to their new home. Elm was offered to go with them, and hesitantly accepted, having been both hungry and tired. Elm became Elmkit as they arrived to the clans, and he decided he would join Storm clan. He has become rather attached to two toms that look somewhat like his missing parents: Goosehop and Yewclaw. The little tom also enjoys his foster mothers Stormstar and Doeheart, who both care for him the best they can.
