Lylander used to have this infection in her eye, which lasted for a little over a year. She felt heavily self conscious about her look and decided to wear a blindfold for the time being, with a hole that she cut out to see of course. Her parents, siblings, and Retrigo started to notice how often she's been wearing the blindfold. Retrigo mostly, told her that even though she has this infection in her eye, she still looked beautiful. She told her this often, trying to convince Lylander to stop wearing the blindfold. It took a few months but she eventually took it off and stopped wearing it.

also I guess this can be a message to the people who's in a similar kind of situation- if you're self conscious about yourself, don't be. You're beautiful in your own ways. If you have a scar on your face and hate how it looks, don't feel ashamed, this kind of stuff happens! Though I am one of those people who are heavily self conscious about my looks- I'll get over it eventually. Don't worry.
