Description Really these are only scraps of three larger sketch dumps; if you can’t tell, I’ve fallen headfirst into DND once more, and ended up doing sketch pages of each of my player characters over the past almost a year (I can’t believe it’s almost been that long already). These are my favorites of them, which I ended up coloring digitally, two of Ashe, and one each of Ilia and Aisling.

Upper left is just Ashe in a down mood; they’re generally one of the happier, snappier members of their party (and are also an absolute idiot despite having the highest wisdom of their party). They do have a lot of issues underneath that outward demeanor, though, so figured I’d doodle that side of them.

Upper right is Aisling in Angry Mom Mode; I don’t have a specific scenario for it, but it was probably after another member of her party was KO’ed by an enemy and she’s about to snipe them down with a well-placed Shatter before calling said fellow party member an idiot to heal them.

Lower left, on the other hand, is actually a specific scene! Ashe has been proving themself to be an actual glass canon; in our very first session, they went down a total of four times. In a row. Long story short, we are now very wary of any and all sets of armor (five level 1 characters versus four sets of animated armor with spears, it didn’t go well but no one died so?). All of our deaths ended up being in the second session, when our barbarian walked straight into a spike trap and our paladin died trying to save her (they both got better though, which was good for Ashe’s psyche). Anyway, this is them after they were knocked out four times in less than an in-game minute, dripping silver blood (I don’t think it’s bad enough to warrant a mature content filter) and supporting their weight with their quarterstaff.

Lower right is Ilia without her signature braid for once! While this specific scene didn’t happen, she did end up with a big poofy ponytail for less-than-fun reasons after one of our sessions; her cloak got torn off and in a panic she undid her braid in an attempt to poof up her hair and hide her ears. I just wanted to draw some fluff, so I didn’t draw that particular scene.

Anyway, enjoy!

Ashe, Aisling and Ilia are all mine
DND is not
