Yep.

I let myself get dragged into both another fandom AND into making another OC.

This weekend my friend dragged me into Steven Universe, and I have to say I'm glad she did.

Note~ AH I CANNOT DRAW IN A STEVEN UNIERSE STYLE WHAT THE HECK WAS I THINKING.

Ahem... Sorry. But hey, she at least looks decent right?

Anyway, my friend (she's still setting up her account but I know her well IRL) was a huge help in making Jet, especially with the dress: the dress's design is practically hers. She's also the friend who dragged me into SU in the first place so she's basically the reason for Jet's existence.

Nicknames: J, Kitty, Amethyst will probably end up giving her more but nothing else yet-
Pronouns: She/her and They/Them, she prefers the first, though
Height: She's barely shorter than Pearl
Weapon: A Japanese Morning Star, or Chigiriki
Gem Placement: Her left eye, covered by a hair fringe
Origin: She was the only successful artificial fusion in the Homeworld's experiment underneath the Kindergarten
Current Residence: Earth
Alliance: While not necessarily a part of the Crystal Gems yet, she sees Earth as her home and will protect it, and she lives with the Crystal Gems a good amount of the time
Personality: (I don't really know how to explain her personality yet but I'm still posting this to avoid another Coda)
Likes: Reading, drawing, relative peace, being with friends (AKA the Crystal Gems!)
Dislikes: fusing, Gen Destabilizers, talking about her origins, Jasper (from what she's heard, never actually met her), fighting
Bio: This is currently a WIP-
Extras: ~She has an extreme fear of fusion, which stems from the different shards she's made of being forced into her. Garnet is trying to help her get over it, and was actually the second to figure out she was a forced fusion.~
~Peridot knew about her being a forced fusion almost immediately after meeting her, thanks to her reading so many logs on it. Therefore she was the first to know, and was the one to tell Jet as she didn't originally know herself~
~Jet is almost as good at Amethyst as shape shifting, though her favorite form is a cat~
~Her fusion dance would be a Contemporary style dance, if she wasn't so terrified of doing it-~
~Her asymmetry and lack of color bothers Pearl to no end~
~When she is angry, upset, and/or scared, she starts referring to herself as 'we' and 'us' out of panic and emotion. If she goes on like this for too long, her forcefully fused parts will start to become individual. If this continues for long enough, she'll break apart and shatter~
~She will occasionally call the Crystal Gems by nicknames, and acts a lot more like a human than most gems~
~Gem Destabilizers are practically her worst enemy next to fusion. They're her second biggest fear. When hit by one, she'l turn white like she's unfusing, her form shifting into shapeless arms and legs, with a shapeless face screaming in pain before she poofs. Her shards turn almost completely back to their original color, with just the tiniest bit of black stone holding her gem together. If she looses grip on herself for a second during this, the black will be gone and she'll become one of those corrupted masses and/or shatter. If she manages to hang on, she'll still stay in her gem for sometimes over a month to try and heal, in tremendous pain the whole time. The only way she can come out earlier is through sheer willpower or with a healing gem's help.~
