She seems to be a pahological liar, which causes eceryone to be quite sceptical of whether or not she’s telling the truth.
Lauren seems to always see the bright side, which most say is quite naive.
She’s also quite greedy and sneaky, though she seems to never use the money she has stolen for anything.

Lauren was born into a rather low-class family.
Her family never really cared about her, and she was mostly alone, due to her family’s alcohol and drug habits.
Already at the age of 13, she started to go around in her home of Glasgow, stealing.
She started with shoplifting, finding little market places with no security cameras and just taking some candy without ever paying for it.
She started to like it. Lauren stated to go for bigger heights, stealing from bigger stores. No one knew how she did it, but this thief was never caught.
Lauren sold the items she stole online for more than they were worth. Surprisingly, people bought it.
She started collecting cash for a proper ’thief-suit’ as she called it.
And she got it. A second-hand cat-kinda suit that was able to spawn holograms.
Honestly said, the girl had no idea how it worked, but it did the job, considering she could break into banks and take cash without getting caught.
Glasgow called her Copycat.
Until Overwatch caught scent of her.
She was going to crazy lengths with trying out her cat-suit. Stealing a priceless antique from a museum.
A book from 1997. Some fantasy book, but it apparently could sell for millions, from what she was told.
She tried to get it, sneaking in like usual, until a voice interrupted her.
"Greetings."
She turned around, only to see a green glow emitting from the dark.
Dang idiots who manufactured the suit frogot to give her night vision.
And finally, an elderly looking woman with a sniper rifle by her side.
"Who in the name of..."
A fight ensued, Copycat desperately trying to escape as these 2 strange people went after her.
This team was way too calculated for the situation.
Cyborg ninja and a sniper who shot darts.
Was this little team made specifically for not damaging the museum?
Whatever it was, she couldn’t escape, considering a dart was shot into her back, causing her to black out immediately.
She woke up in the arms of two men in suits.
Lauren glanced at their outfit. There was somekind of logo on their shoulder.
Circle..orange top...
Well crap.
Overwatch noticed her. The girl didn’t know whether to be flattered or terrified.
And there was a monkey infront of her. At least she thought he was a monkey.
And the elderly woman.
This monkey’s name seemed to be Winston, and the woman was Ana. At least, that’s what she had been told.
They broke the news to her.
She’s going behind bars.
Lauren panicked, and something stupid came out of her mouth.
"Okay, HOLD THE PHONE! Can’t I do something else? Like...join? I don’t know? I don’t want to go to jail, I haven’t even listened to the new diss track that one blonde chick did!"
Well.
She was in. Though she wasn’t allowed out without people following her for the first 10 years, and there was a camera in her room.
Lauren dealt with it. Better than living in Glasgow.
Her parents hadn’t called her since, which was to be expected.
And here she is, an Overwatch member, living in what feels like a high-security prison to her.
At least she’s allowed to talk to the other people there.

Throws knives, 1 at a time, 20 knives before she has to reload. (Each knife does about 50 damage, so 100 when headshotted.)

Doppelgänger - Transforms into a person from the enemy team (can choose which one) for 30 seconds (cooldown is 12 seconds)

Double Trouble - Does a backflip (Think Mccree’s combat roll played backwards) and leaves a copy of herself to fight the enemy while she flees. Copy has 75 health (Cooldown is 8 seconds)

Ultimate Ability

Counterpart Catastrophe - Copycat releases 6 doppelgängers of the enemy team onto them, each one has 100 health, and their damage is reduced (D.Va spawns without her Mech)
