Posting this because there was a time when I went absolutely feral over this man, so I'm going to be putting a lot of art of him. I'm also going to be linking back to this deviation a lot, so I'm going to explain what he's about here.

Mikro is a Devoma, a member of a closed species by me.

He lived a traditional lifestyle (that means that he lived in the "wilderness" of space) without knowing a touch of technology, on a paradise jungle planet called Burneers, until he was approximately 14-15 years old. Then, a large mega-company called XAREX settled on the planet and started destroying the forest to make way for a touristic resort. To do that, they took the local alien population (a species of aliens called Simis), shoved them in spaceships, explained them how to navigate them, and sent them off the planet.

He was furious and entered the resistance among local Devomas to fight the company's progress. While he's still quite young (especially for a Devoma) he has, over the years, climbed the "ranks" of the small local resistance and has owned himself a sort of mascot title when he was interviewed for a documentary on the whole situation (that caused a huge scandal when it came out). Xarex was not forced to leave, but it WAS forced to track down the poor Simis in their ships and reinstate them in reserves on the surface of Burneers.

But the resistance is not pleased with this, and wants XAREX gone for good, so they keep fighting.

Mirko is a grump most of the time (I mean, he's been fighting a deadly war since he was 14) but he's also easy-going and charismatic. He's certainly not experienced enough to be an actual leader but he's quite content with his role as a face of the resistance and plays a bit role in keeping the morale going.

Despite being big and strong, Mirko is more of a stealth saboteur than a brawler. While he can hold his own in a fight (maybe), he'd rather camouflage himself in the dark and going out to break machines. Despite having had to fight off many mercenaries during his life, he'd rather not wound or kill anyone if he can help it.

He has a pet Wuggie (a tiny alien shimp) called Pickle. He keeps it in a pickle jar he found.

He dresses in random clothes he either steals or found in dumps. They often have holes in them because he uses his fire powers quite recklessly.

Design-wise, he's literally just based on a manticore.
