Dude, this is so pretty. It reminded me of Grow Cube a little too, only slightly cooler because you don't have to grow some lame skeleton.
The texture for the leafs and grass is pretty cool, as well as all the lines that form the texture for the bark on the tree. The way the water obeys the cube is nifty as well.
Well, now you've made me want to draw something like this. And it shall happen and never see the light of day.

Really beautiful, I would like to see you do a bigger landscape like Pon's though. It does remind me of Animal Crossing, I think it's the grass.

Beautiful job! First off, the dash of oragne in the right corner is a nice touch that really makes the central block pop! I really love the details in the cube, the grain and knots in the wood, the lily pad in the water, as well as the fossils in the ground. All and all great work!

this is really neat 8] i like the way your designed the tree. this reminds me of those images in biology textbooks that show the layers of the earth
i like how you added the water in, but it looks alot like a jell-o cube. there's no real watery feel to it.
