Description
Your P.O.V.You wiped up the table and picked up the dishes for the last customers of the night and quickly washed them in the kitchen. Telma's Bar was always packed, but by this time of night, Telma was ready to close up. You stored the clean dishes and flipped the chairs on the tables so you could start to sweep up the floor. As you swept, Telma returned to the bar after being out for about an hour.
"_______, I'll finish up here honey. You go get yourself ready for bed, okay? But first I want to talk to you about something..." Telma spoke up as she took the broom from you.
"Yes Telma?" You asked nervously, afraid you were in trouble.
"Honey, don't be scared, you aren't in trouble!" She laughed at my expression.
"I'm not?" You replied, feeling a little more relaxed. Louise jumped into your arms and you started to pet her.
"Of course you aren't! Unless there's something I don't know about..?" She eyed you and then laughed as you shook your head fiercly. "I didn't think so!" She continued. "I was just thinking about how cooped up you must feel stuck in this little building every day of your life. I was thinking maybe I could have a friend of mine take care of you for a while somewhere else, somewhere with fresh air, y'know?"
You pondered for a moment and then smiled."Telma, would you really let me do that?" You inquired.
"Of course honey! You need a little break anyway! You've been working your tail end off for me for five years!" She laughed merrily. "You actually have several options, really. Auru could take you to Lake Hylia for a while. You would meet the Zoras and mess around with Falbi and Fyer, maybe even go upriver and visit Hena and Iza. Ashei could take you to the Snowpeak Ruins, but you would definitely need a coat. You would probably meet Yeto and Yeta the Yetis. Shad could take you to Kakariko Village to enjoy some outdoor scenery. The Gorons would be there, as well as Renado, his daughter Luda, and Barnes the old bomb guy. Or if you wanted, Rusl could take you to Ordon, a peaceful little village in the Faron Woods. Many lovely people live there, or so I've heard." She winked playfully. "You could even just stay in Castle Town if you would like!"
"I think I want to go to...Ordon, Telma. I want to go to Ordon with Rusl." You smiled at her.
"Well that's perfect timing then, I was going to head back tomorrow to see my wife Uli, Colin, and baby Casie." A mysterious voice spoke behind you. You turned to see a man dressed, from head to toe in traditional village clothing, a sword was strung on his back and he had a white headband around his head. I assumed it was the man Telma was talking about.
"Rusl, I didn't know you were coming today?" Telma said, shocked. "Oh, honey, this Rusl. Rusl, this is ______." Telma smiled as she introduced us.
"Hi _______, it's nice to meet you!" He smiled and laughed.
"H-hello sir." You spoke very nervously.
"Please, call me Rusl, okay?" He said. You smiled more confidently this time. "I know a boy who is a bit older than you, and I think you two will like eachother. Have you ever heard of the-"
"Rusl! Save your tales for the road!" Telma cut him off. "______, go pack your things and get some sleep, you'll be heading out early in the morning, okay?"
"Yes Telma! See you in the morning Rusl!" You smiled and darted upstairs to your room and hastily packing, but you made sure to pack everything you could possibly need. Then you crashed into your bed, but unable to sleep in all the excitement. You were ready for some quiet time in the small town of Ordon. Finally, sleep overcame you and you slept dreamlessly until morning.

"Rusl!" I smacked him upside the head. "Are you crazy? You can't tell her all that stuff about Link! Let him tell her if he wants to, just let the girl think the he's just a boy for once, okay?"
"I see your point Telma, I suppose I do tell the story too much..." Rusl admitted as he rubbed that side of his head where I had whacked him.
"I apologize for hitting you, it was uncalled for..." I trailed off as I apologized to him. "Now, do you want to stay here for the night and take _______ with you tomorrow?" I asked him.
"Apology accepted. That would work better than my plan to pick her up." He smiled.
"Alright, head up to to the guest bedroom and get some sleep." I shooed him off up the stairs and finished sweeping.

Your P.O.V.
You awoke the next morning, almost forgetting why today was so special. You quickly dressed in one of the few dresses Telma had bought you, it was a simple sleeveless dress with with lace trim at the bottom edge. You also slipped on a belt and some comfortable flats to go with it. You brushed your hair, grabbed your packed bag, and went downstairs, finding Telma and Rusl chatting behind the bar.
"Ah! There she is!" Telma laughed. "You look pretty today, honey."
"I just wanted to look nice for my first visit. I have pants and shirts packed too." You told her.
"We had better head out Telma, we have to get across the bridge before dusk hits." He looked seriously at Telma and then at you. "Things happen if I don't close the bridge before dusk."
"Alright honey, you listen to Rusl now, okay? Have a safe trip to Ordon, I hope you find some people you like!" She winked. "Now Rusl, you let anything put one finger on my precious girl, and you will never see daylight again." Telma said to his face. Rusl gulped and your eyes widened. You had no idea Telma cared so much about you.
"Uh- Umm- L-let's go _______!" Rusl said. You hugged Telma goodbye and left with Rusl, promising to write to her. Rusl led you through castle town and out the South gate. He loaded you and your things into the battered wagon pulled by horses. You sat in the back and looked out at the place you were leaving for a few weeks. Rusl clicked his tongue and the horses began their journey.
"Rusl, how long will the trip be?" You asked him as he led the wagon.
"It will be nearly all day, so you had better settle in." He said and you sighed. You looked out the back of the wagon and admired the scenery of Hyrule Field. Hours later, the wagon stopped at a stone bridge leading over an enormous gorge. Rusl turned and gave you a confident look as the wagon started to move again. You were careful not to look down into the gorge as you crossed. Soon, you were safely on the other side and back on track.
"So ________, why do you live with Telma? If you don't mind my asking." Rusl asked after awhile.
"I lived in castle town with my parents as an only child. On day they went on a trip, five years ago this day, and disappeared. Everyone believes that they fell off the bridge we just crossed, but I don't think so. For two years, I believed they would come back, but I gave up. Telma, my aunt, took me in and I've lived and worked with her ever since." You said sadly.
"Oh..." Rusl took it all in. Suddenly hooves thundered behind the wagon. You look out to see a Bulblin Rider following the wagon.
"R-Rusl!" You yelled and jumped away from the back of the wagon.
"I know! I know!" Rusl urged the horses to go faster. You crawled as far away from the back of the wagon as you could, but not before the Bulblin made a grab at you. The monster clutched your ankle as you screamed. He jumped into the wagon and tried to get closer to you, but then there was silence.
You slowly turned and saw a young guy, clad in a dark green outfit. He turned to you and you ran to him. You clung to him for dear life. He stroked your hair gently as you quietly sobbed into his chest. Then he sat you in the corner of the wagon.
"I'll be right back." He said softly and went to dispose of the monster carcass. Then, Rusl hopped into the back of the and came to your side.
"________, are you alright? He didn't scare you did he?" He asked panicked. You shook your head no and he relaxed quite a bit. "We have about three hours more ride until we get to Ordon. When Link gets back, we'll head out.
Link? That's his name? You thought. You smiled and thanked Rusl for the blanket he placed around your shoulders. Soon, Link returned. You smiled at him gratefully, and he gave you a dazzling smile in return. He came and sat by your side.
"You must be _______." He said. "I'm Link.!"
"H-hello...thank-you for saving me. How could I repay you?" You whispered quietly.
"It was nothing. I used to kill things like that all the time. No repayment required." He laughed. "Here, this was in his pocket. You take it." He handed you a small blue rupee. It sparkled beautifully and was a deep rich blue.
"Th-thank-you," You whispered and smiled. You pulled the blanket tighter around you and shivered, it was starting to get cold.
"Are you cold? Here." Link wrapped his arms around your shoulders and you snuggled against him, warmer than you'd ever been. Soon you dozed and fell asleep
