Well, Prom isn’t prom if you don’t have a date! Successfully acquire a soulmate that you can get down on one knee to and propose and marry so you can continue your blood.... Wait, that’s not how asking somebody out to Prom Works? Gonna have to figure how to do this right like the ‘Modern times’, whatever that is.

They did spent a while together just like their students did, so now that they have proper limbs, they can also dance and enjoy a party properly, so of course Slue-shi!Jareth would invite their good friend to prom, not to mention, they're not about to pass the chance to be extra and show off, not that it is TOO hard to impress the mermaid, but they do like that look of wonder on her face.
