However, this point is still ignored or underestimated by artists / professionals, who embark on their work a kind of trapped brick.

So, creation nourishing creation ? Vampirism ? Art bridled by respect for an underlying work ? Freedom for the ideas to live and evolve ? Protect the authors ? Reuse / rebound = innovation, alteration, extension or treason ? There is probably no absolute answers for these metaphysical questions.
