cosplay: myself as c.c. photographer & editing: *amyschn I wanted to test my C.C.-wig and amy wanted to practise with her new camera before the next convention, so we had a little shooting today

Given that she along with Sutherland? [Cordelia's Knight] were my favourite characters, i guess that shows how much i'd lost interest through the second season...
[pointedly ignores sarcasm] You saucy minx [there's no simple way to explain that], that sounds like a challenge.
Meh [shrug], your cosplays have been impressive for their accuracy, not only your appearance in them, so it just seemed like the sort of thing that you might spend a few extra minutes doing.

err sorry :'D I really accept criticism, but not if I think it's not justified ..
of course she has it and it would be more accurate, but on the other hand it would not last long under the hair and probably get all messy soon, and since you really don't see it, I think it's better without .. (there are only few scenes of her in the anime where you acutally see it) of course it would be more accurate, but to me that's already the same as worrying if you wear the same underwear as the character you cosplay .. ^^,

The Uni anime society was watching it so i kept going. People kept enthusing about it so i assumed the climax was going to be good. The action broke down into a contest of superweapons so the dogfights that I loved disappeared.
Still don't know how Nunilly survived...

really? I liked the end of the anime .. the mecha-fights were boring of course (I generally have no interest in fighting mechas), but apart from that I found it a good ending .. ^^

I'm kinda biased because the series started out with actual strategy and tactics going on but after a certain point it was literally a case of Lelouch doing things that should have led to his defeat but then something else cropping up to turn it to his advantage...
In that final confrontation, he tried to use ground tactics in the air, which should have been an instant defeat but was apparently genius...? [shrug]
That and being clamp, it had already hit levels of farce by the end of the first episode... [the fluctuating breast size in relation to badass-ness, the fact the guys talk like girls for whole stretches, the super-boob cannon...]
It lost me about the point where Freya went off.

Nah, it actually happens. Cornelia starts off with larger breasts at the beginning of the first series than she does by the time she's defeated.
After i pointed it out, someone made a silly little flash montage showing the shifts between fights.
If by cosplaying you mean 'making life miserable for everyone around you, yelling annoying racism at inappopriate moments and masterbating yourself silly over a celebrity', most of the people who have to put up with you...
If you mean dressing like her and posing for pictures, I doubt anyone would think anything more than "a pretty girl playing a minor character? that's odd!"

no, I'll DEFINITELY only do the dressing and posing part xDD but it's relieving you think so xD
(it's because it will fit better when the other cosplays in our group will be rivalz, shirley and lloyd .. c.c. would be a little odd then .. but I'll cosplay her a month later when there'll also be a lelouch ^_^)

Its actually a trend i first noticed in other CLAMP properties, along with trends in characters behaving and talking more feminine as they become more powerful [Lelouch uses female pronouns in some of his more 'I'm awesome, bow to me' moments].
Guess that's what happens when the writing and drawing crew are all female...
I know of people who like Nina, I just don't understand why people didn't slap her early on in the series...

I started learning Japanese from an odd direction, in that i wanted to speak man's Japanese. A couple of lessons in, i discovered that the pronouns in CLAMP were a little odd...
The rest was from already being in that 'this is slightly off' mindset.
Most Nina lovers are the kind of folks who read and write slash and love stories who's sole explaination as to why two girls got together in a story was that 'gay is good'.
If anything, Nina's particular brand of racism has been like my father's since he had his stroke so it has been easier to screen out...+P

I think more 'extreme' slash-fans don't even need someone like her, because logic doesn't matter a bit in those fanfics and they just invent random pairings with their favourite characters .. |D

I'm more than happy to help you with your grammer. I usually feel guilty doing it. I'm even happy to help with homework and the like, as long as it's not more than about 500 words [I'd expect at least bribary beyond that].
Pops is just something I'd rather not discuss on a public message board. That and it would sound like i'm fishing for sympathy if I said it without someone asking
