Chel didn't quite understand these strange visitors to her land, but she knew, despite her superstitious countrymen, that this pale pair, one with golden hair and the other with more typical black, were not the Gods that they had been supposed to be.
But, when asked to prove themselves, in private and away from the watchful gaze of the priests, the dark-haired not-God snapped his fingers, as though expecting actual miracles.
