Resolute - Sherlock/His Last Vow.
This scene speaks to me, so much so that I had to paint it. He only has one option to uphold his vow to his best friend, and right or wrong, he remains resolute in that decision. Perhaps not a hero, but loyal nonetheless. And for a friend to do that for you is heroic, in my opinion. Wonderful television!

I almost cry...almost (its a lie..i cried like a baby) watching this scene. The look on sherlock's face conveys what he really feels better than words. Those eyes speak of love, affection, devotion and fierce protectiveness for the only man in this world he accepted (he doesn't really have a choice because..come on..it's John, even Mycroft has a soft spot for him) as his best friend. You captured this moment perfectly. Amazing job
this episode really plays with the viewers emotion ( mine at least). Another one of my fav scene is when john ask sherlock "why is she like that?". The betrayal, the confusion, the hurt, the love and maybe denial are all compressed in that question? Ah martin freeman is such a great actor. His voice, his body language and his face in that particular scene really breaks my heart.

Amazing... i think this scene may be my next project at a drawing. Was going to do Reichenbach but Sherlock's expression in this scene speaks volumes for his love (friendship) for John. : ( x
