Some sort of strange mono-car rail-based transport system.

Just something I daydreamed, and felt like drawing, really. I imagine there's a touchpad or something on that thin arc on the front, and that the thing would be located en masse in some futuristic sci-fi sorta city.

Based on my very limited physical/technical engineering knowledge, I'm pretty sure, in real life, something like this would be pretty impossible. The engine needed for it would probably not fit or would overheat and spontaneously combust, the electric rails wouldn't support movement, and/or the whole structure would be unable to maintain physical support then collapse on itself, likely in a big fire or massive explosion that would result in many casualties.
...But, y'know, I thought it looked cool.

Forgive the quality. The printer part of my original printer/scanner/photocopyer/fax-machine thingy broke, and my father graciously bought me a new one, but the scanner part of it isn't nearly as good as my old one. I had to enhance the image like mad to make it look decent. Though with it came this ugly dithering. Gah.
I guess the distortion does kinda look neat though.
