~PIXICORN LORE~

Be it on accident or on purpose, Pixicorns are dimension hoppers! Their plane of existence is actually a hub to travel to other dimensions. This can lead to interesting interactions with other sentient species. This can lead to interesting things such as Pixicorns ending up in folklore/myth of other species (such as in the case of humans) or even accidental time travel. Usually, though, a Pixicorn reports every dimension they've visited to the Pixicorn Committee of Interdimensional Affairs in their dimension's Capitol.

Despite their name, Pixicorns are NOT related to Unicorns. Humans simply named the beings "Pixicorns" by putting together the word "pixie" and the Latin word "cornus" (meaning "horn") together. Earlier Pixicorns found the name to be cute, though, so they took it on. It is still unknown what they called themselves beforehand, if anything at all.

SPEECH 1: "I'm not a horse!"

SPEECH 2: "SCIENCE RULES!"

Pixicorns ADORE science. They seem to have been born with a collectively advanced understanding of it, and enjoy swapping scientific knowledge with other species the most. However, Pixicorns think that they "know better" than other sentient beings due to their innate knowledge. As a result, they can come off as haughty or even unintentionally cruel to those outside of their species. Demeanors and opinions vary from Pixicorn to Pixicorn however, just like humans.

CAPTION: "HOME SWEET HOME! <3"

Despite their attraction to risk, Pixicorns fully understand the concept of 'cause and effect', and thus are (usually) excellent
planners. It's rare to find a Pixicorn who doesn't utilize their foresight in a conflict. Don't get into a battle of wits with them.
