Quivira woke up to hear a harsh wind blowing against the window, looking towards it she saw snow plummeting towards the ground. With a large stretch she got of bed, she felt Tom's side and looked around. Where was he?

"Honey?" she called out; no one answered "HONEY?" she called out louder.

A clatter came from downstairs and Tom spoke "I am down here, making breakfast. Don't worry"

Quivira sighed "Alright, did you just start cause I can help you?" she was about to walk down but Tom yelled "NO!"

She stopped suddenly. There was a moment of silence before Tom spoke again "Go ahead and take a shower, I got it. Don't worry about me."

Quivira shrugged "Okay, I will be down in about a hour." she walked back up to the room to prepare for her shower. Grabbing her soaps and towels, she walked to the restroom and before she closed the door she yelled "I am about to shower so use the downstairs bathroom okay."

Tom replied "Okie dokie"

After about a hour she walked out of the shower in her bathrobe and a towel wrapped on her head. She sat on her bed as she dried her feathers and fur, wringing out her tail, and drying her hair. Looking in the mirror she groaned as she stroked the blue part of her hair "UGH...this Leviathan blood isn't gonna come off is it?" she questioned to herself.

She put on some comfy clothes and finally walked down. "Hey Tom...Tom?" Quivira saw the kitchen cleaned, like if no one had even been inside it. As she walked to the dining room she saw him.

"Oh WOW" she stood in awe as Tom was laying out two sets of plates and utensils, "MY MY...what's the occasion? Wait....its not your birthday right?"

Tom laughed "No..wait" he thought for a moment "No. I just....wanted to give you a nice breakfast."

Quivira chuckled "You continue cooking like this your gonna spoil me. Oooo pancakes, strawberries, sausage, your famous hot coco, oh and what's this little box? You didn't spend money on a fancy spice box?" she opened and screeched "WHAT THE F**K?!"

Tom stood up and gasped, fixing up the box and making it look neat. Inside was a ring, with blue crystals. Quivira only sat in shock looking at it with wide eyes.

"That's....that is a...ring. An enga..gem..ent ring?" her voice was really shaky

"Yes"

"And....is......is" she held back tears "is it for....me?"

"Yes" he grabbed it and went right next to her "Quivira Foster...will you....marry me?" he smiled

Quivira wiped the tears from her face "I....did you get my.."

"I asked your dad before he left."

She nodded softly and smiled "Yes...yes I WILL."

"And if you want me to take your name I will."

"OH THANK GOD....sorry its....I don't want to be linked in your family that way."

Tom chuckled " I don't blame you."

Quivira examined the ring " Did you make this with...the Kyanite I found on the planet?"

"Yea...I have a cousin who does this kind of thing....it was sorta hard with the unknown crystal but it payed off."

She sighed happily and she examined the ring, her ears perk when Tom asked "So one thing I want to know is....what is your stance on.....us...having kids?"

"Well...I am...not against it...I have thought about it for a long time and.....I want to see how our life plays out before we...try for that."

"Make sense" Tom nodded "Well...lets not let this food go to waste."

Quivira and Tom begin serving their own plates as the blizzard got a bit harsher, even though it was cold outside the feeling between them ( and the heater ) kept them warm.
