. Friendly - Brighttooth is very good-natured and compelled to brighten a clanmates day if it means being kind to them or just talking to them to make them feel important.
. Empathetic - Brighttooth’s history of trying hard to interact with his peers from his days of being a kit has made him very attentive to other cat’s emotions and viewpoints, he has no trouble putting himself in their situation.
. Hard-working - He’s found that to make himself happy, he’s had to work at making his life better for himself and those around him. This perspective of having to work to gain happiness has led him to be very hard-working in other areas as well.

Neutral Traits:
. Cares too much - If Brighttooth pours his heart into a situation, he has a hard time letting go of it until it’s solved, he tries incredibly hard to make everyone in the situation happy which can easily lead to a burnout.
. Follows his feelings and heart - While this helps his kind personality, it can easily cause problems if he pities the wrong side, lets his emotions cloud his reasoning, or in a severe case, break the warrior code in order to sleep soundly knowing he hasn’t broken his morals

-He has deep-rooted self-image issues which interfere with his daily life, however he’s working very hard at lessening them

-Very clumsy due to his size and has a hard time hunting because of this

Likes:
-Kits and Elders, he finds he has a knack for helping those who can’t help themselves
-Basking in the sun and sleeping, due to his relaxed and gentle nature, warming in the sun and napping are highly enjoyable for him, and he can often be found sleeping throughout the territory in his downtime
-Swimming, despite not being in Riverclan, his breed is generally good in the water, and while he’s clumsy and cannot swim efficiently or silently, he still enjoys the sensation, however getting out and walking around with a heavy and wet pelt is another story

Dislikes:
-Holding any kind of powerful position such as the leader of a patrol or hunting party
-Being singled out, he always expects the worst if he's in a group and a clanmate or another cat wants to talk to him and him alone
-Rain, because it always seems to get into his thick pelt and weigh him down

-History-

Kit: His father being a kittypet, and his mother a Thunderclan cat, he didn’t have much of a father figure in his life, and he began to look for it in other cats. He was unsuccessful however, and as such relied mostly on his mother to guide him parentally. As a kit, he was much larger and stockier than his peers, and as such, had a hard time playing or roughhousing with them. As he grew older, he realized his size and began to adjust to be gentler when playing with the other kits. This gradually increasing desire to be gentle and restrain himself led to many cats wondering if he’d inherited his father’s kittypet softness.

Apprentice: As an apprentice, his underbite became worse over time, and when he began his training, his lower jaw jutted slightly, but didn’t show any teeth. With his deepening underbite, training to hunt and fight with his fangs became difficult to teach for his mentor. As such, they focused on strengthening skills with his claws and adjusting activities that would require his jaws. His gentleness carried onto his training unintentionally, and training with his mentor or other apprentices was always done very carefully on his part, and he never let himself win or overpower them. His softness was a subject of concern for his mentor, and so, tried to work on getting him to be less ashamed of his size advantage over other cats his age. This only partially worked, he kept his gentle disposition but if absolutely necessary, found how to let himself fight without holding back so much.

Warrior: By the time he earned his warrior name, Brighttooth had a difficult time eating, especially in front of other cats. He’d take his food into a secluded area of the camp where he could eat in peace, without others staring at him for the odd way he was forced to eat, his jaws unaligned for basic things like eating or holding things in his mouth without adjustment. His gentle nature underlied everything he did, and had no problems getting along with the kits or elders of the clan. It was very early on in his warriorhood that he decided he wanted to mentor an apprentice someday. This pushed him to try to become a better warrior, and he has been working to the goal of being mentor material ever since.

Roleplay Example: Brighttooth stretched himself out across the ground, sunlight glazing over his fur and tinting it slightly golden. His gleaming eyes shifted around, inspecting the grass surrounding him and taking in the way it shone in the sunlight. His sight caught something small and dusty brown hiding in the foliage, and he shifted quietly onto his paws, huddling into as much of a hunter's crouch as was possible with his awkward size, one of his back legs stuck out oddly, his belly fur leaving no room for the limb, but despite this, he leapt, putting the most attention on the leg that happened to the side awkwardly, focusing its push forward. He soared for a short moment just over the ground and dropped into the foliage front paws going just over the mouse. He realized this immediately and swiped one of his front paws backwards, snagging the rodent. He found when he tried to lower his head to give it a killing blow, much of his fur had been caught on stray twigs and the winding stalks of plants. He compromised by using his claws, and began to try to work himself from his predicament of being stuck. As he was halfway out, and could successfully dip his head to pick up the mouse with his jutting jaw, he heard the footsteps of another cat behind him, and they stopped as the cat waited and watched. Brighttooth wriggled himself free the rest of the way and turned to the other, "Hello?"
