"So, you're the one that's been causing all of this havoc?! Why? People deserve freedom and choice! Not blind obedience...I am Diana of Themyscia, Daughter of Hippolyta Queen of the Amazons. In the name of everything good in the world, I will destroy you! I fight on the side of justice and truth, and I most certainly won’t be beaten by the likes of you!”She scowls, drawing her blade and readying her shield. She looks ready for a fight to the death, and she doesn’t look particularly intent on losing.

Rurstag lets a grunt from the impact, staggering back. Green blood drips from his leg. He takes a hand over the wound, and press the hand over his skull helmet, leaving an imprint. The warrior slams his spear into Diana’s shield; pinning her for a few minutes.
“On my world I am what you would call a god. I rallied my world’s people to seek battle and plunder. And they fought until some of the other Lords united them under one banner. My purpose completed, I seek new challenges. This world is said to house some of the mightiest champions in the stars. Even Apocalypse fears your champions.”

She grunts in anger as she’s pinned.
“You’ll just be another scared alien I suppose then...”
Using the pressure of being pinned, she lifts both her legs up and kicks for his chest as hard as she can

Rurstag flies several feet into the air. He lands on a car, crushing it, and getting up unfazed. “It is good to meet such a skilled warrior”. He reaches out an arm with his thumb, middle, and pointer fingers pointed outward in a salute. The spear’s beam arcs in around Diana, sending more dirt into the air. Then Rurstag sweeps Diana’s legs out from under her.

As her legs are swept from under her, she staggers, in the air, however she uses the momentum to bring her shield down on his head with a loud clang

A crack runs along the helmet’s top. It snaps open to reveal his face, cracked grayish violet skin, amber eyes, and blue hair in a Mohawk. The ground trembles as he lets out a battle cry. The spear snaps in two as Rurstag draws a sword from the shaft. In a blur he hammers at Diana. The sword blade slashes Diana’s shoulder, cutting a strap and drawing blood.

She grunts in pain, still fighting defensively and punishing his strike with another shield bash to his now exposed head

Rurstag's head rolls back a bit, but the alien god holds his ground. The spear shaft locks under Wonder Woman's ankle. That's a hammering thud as Rurstag headbutts her and sweeps her legs out. Wonder Woman lands on the ground, sword just out of reach. Rurstag pins her shield by stepping on it. Then places an armored boot on her chest, pressing her into the ground. The point of his sword rest at throat. "It's over champion. By right of combat I claim you as tribute."

She looks disgusted, struggling under his boot.
“Tribute?! I am not a trophy to be won!”

"We are what we are, Amazon Warrior. And will become what we must to remain what we are."
Rurstag raises his energy spear and fires a blast at a random building. There's an explosion. Flames lick the building.
"You claim to be a defender of this world. Yet you let them suffer and die as you are crushed under my boot. Is your pride more valuable than defending these people?
You have impressed me with your combat skills and are a beautiful example of your race. Surrender as tribute and the lives of thousands will be spared. My purpose is to seek glories battle and plunder. I will continue until I find what I seek."
The sword blade presses a little harder on Wonder Woman's neck, drawing just a cut of blood.

“Then take me. But trust me, there are others, and they will rise to destroy you.”
She narrows her eyebrows

"Perhaps some day. If I ever return this world." Rurstag eases off with his sword. Then he grabs Wonder Woman's lasso of truth and binds her with it. Then in a blur they vanish. Wonder Woman finds herself on a silk bed a sleek, yet rustic looking chamber. The room is lined with paintings depicting Rurstag in battle after battle. People kneel before him in droves. From the corner of her eye Wonder Woman could see a window of stars.

She struggles to free herself from her tight bonds, thrashing to get free

There's a snap hiss as a door opens.
"Oh, she's quit exotic ." Says a voice.
Wonder Woman is turned over. She's a alien woman clad in ornate robs standing over her. The alien has teal skin, no hair but clear head fin. Her frog like eyes look over Wonder Woman.
"Hello champion of Earth, I am Lay'resh," she says sweetly. "I can understand you are confused and angry right now. Though you're safe. Lord Rurstag wishes you no further harm. In fact a feast is being prepared in your honor as we speak. I have been selected to get you cleaned up and dressed."
Lay'resh's mouth partly opens in a sigh, looking over the Amazon's torn outfit and dirty skin.

She clearly doesn’t want to hear it.
“Listen here, Lay’resh, my mother won’t take kindly to this transgression on earth and on me. She will smite you and that brutish man down.”
Her face is pulled back into a snarl, especially when Lay’Resh gazes her up and down

Lay’resh shakes her head. “We are out of range of Earth and will be entering Emorn controlled space shortly. They have treaties with several intergalactic powers. Any incursion by any of Earth’s champions would mean all out war. Lord Rurstag does not seek worlds to burn. You gave him the fight he craved. In fact he wouldn’t have destroyed the city if you had answered his challenge earlier. Now, you made a vow to be his tribute. So let’s get you ready for the feast.”

“And where do you rank against the brute? Above or below him?! I don’t want your meal, you can take your feast and shove it up your ass!”
She’s red with anger

Lay'resh folds her hands together. "For 78 years I have served Lord Rurstag. It was anticipated that I would tend to his beloved. Though the search for such a one took longer than we thought." Then the alien woman takes hold of the lasso and tugs on it. "I'm here to tent to you."

"Your beloved?! I'm not being a beloved to anyone, especially not to that fucking creep!"
Her face is pulled back into a snarl
"I don't want you to tend to me."

Just then the door opens. Rurstag walks. He now dressed in a fine black and gold trim tunic. He towers over everyone. Lay'resh bows her head.
"She refuses to let me tend to her." Lay'resh pleads.
Rurstag nods and kneels down, looking Diana in the eyes. "You agreed to be my tribute. I let your world. And you still choose to defy me!" The alien demigod shakes his head. "Do the words you speak hold any meaning to you? Or do you take pleasure in lying and going back on your world. Ether way you must be punished for said actions. Though I will give you one last chance to hold your word true. If not things will get... unpleasant for you. My bother Shellnorv doesn't hold honor like I do. I do not wish to give you to him. Though I don't see what chose I have if you will not comply." Rurstag takes a hand and strokes Wonder Woman's cheek. There's a look of pity in his eyes.

“I’m. Not. Scared. Of any of you!”
She headbutts him, hard. In an act of defiance and anger. She’s clearly had enough of being called a ‘tribute’

I was following the orders of my leader Ares. He ordered me to pick a fight with Wonder Woman. All the other Sentinels run away in fear, but i was left standing. I charge at her as we traded blows with our shield, sword and bare hands. We both stopped for a moment as i scanned her body. I was once human until being turned into a robot by Ares. I looked at Wonder Woman as she looked familar, but that could have been an error in my scanning. Maybe it was an implant by my master.
"You will fall Diana of Themyscia,"

She whipped her hair back, her teeth batted in an angry snarl as she charges you for another blow.
“I will not fall, giving up isn’t an idea I’ve ever had!”
She shouts as she goes in for a heavy and punishing blow

I held my arms up looking at her as i exchanged blows and blocks with Wonder Woman. I couldn't fail my master now. There was no way that i could fail. I would rather die than to fail my master. I grabbed her and threw her across the field, I ran over hoping to land some more blows to Wonder Woman. Suddenly, i stopped remembering a flashback to my day as a human.
It was strange that Wonder Woman was in my dreams. We were laughing together, sharing ice cream and even one where we shared a blanket while staring at the fireplace. I stopped a moment wondering what was going on?
