An old pic i took before summer started..These ants are tiny.there drinking honey i put on a leaf..i then put the leaf down on the floor and after about 30 mins it had about 10 ants licking up the honey..Related content

This is one of the most amazing insect macros I've ever seen.
I feel as if I've been transported to a new world now that I can see the individual hairs and parts of their compound eyes. They look so happy. Also, I've never actually seen ants eat before. The viscosity of the honey is a great substance to demonstrate that with. I shall never look at insects the same way again.
