wow, I love this photo. I have to agree I love the angle, it really emphazises the eyes.. which I find creepily cute. I keep getting this image of the cat in Shrek.. Wonderful shot

Out of all the angles of the jumping spider you took, I think this one looks the best. The angle is just more interesting, plus the big eyes of the spider just really 'jump' out at you (it's soooo creepy).
Love the detail on the spider though, makes me want to buy a macro lens and snap pictures like that too.
