For Marisa Bruno's #CryptidInJuly tag on twitter.The descriptions of the bunyip is a different creature every time. Must have something to do with a shared cultural memory, where different groups try to describe the same organism- that may or may not have existed- and these descriptions changed over time, until all that is left is an entirely different creature that has a vague association with the other groups. Anyway, I went for the fanged mud doggo.
