Class T448.0 locomotive from the local wire factory is seen in the sorting yard that is part of the Hlohovec train station. Rail switches here and in the factory itself are marked with letter "D" plus respective number, the "D" stands for "Drôtovňa" (drôt - wire, drôtovňa - wire factory).

I was waiting for quite a long time for it to show up, and even so it was just a pure luck that it left the factory gates on that day. As I was waiting near the factory gate, I could see in the distance, that locomotive crew was doing some of the regular check ups and basic maintenance on the locomotive. So apparently it left factory only to heat up its engine for a while as it was not doing any shunting with the freight wagons.

The Hlohovec wire factory is home to two Class T448.0 locomotives. The other one, number T448.0583, should be used during winter months. So I have a good reason to return to this place.
