“Alright purse, wallet, phone.” You said to yourself as you looked over and smiled at your mochi. You had decided to name her ______-mochi and she loved the name. You closed the door of your bedroom as you were headed out to the market. It had been a couple weeks since your sickness and finding the mochis and it took all you had to convince Francis and Arthur to let you out of the house again on your own. Knowing that the guys were going to have Ivan and Yao over you figured you could go to the market to grab a few things to make dinner for the guys. You walked into the living room finding the four guys in the sitting on the couch in the dark watching a movie with the four mochis on the couch with them.
“Hey,” you said getting their attention seeing them all jump so you knew it had to be one of Alfred’s horror movies. “I’m going to the corner market.”
“When are you going to be back?” Alfred asked not wanting you out after dark.
“I’ll be home in time to make dinner.” You smiled as you headed for the door.
“Alright poppet.” Arthur said getting up as you opened the door. “You’ve got your phone?”
“Yes.”
“And you’ll call us if you need us.”
“Yes.”
“If anything goes wrong don’t hesitate to call.”
“Yes,” You started walking down the side walk from the front steps. “Dad.”
“What was that?” Arthur asked not hearing what your last comment was.
“I said see you soon.” You smile as your mochi hopped along your feet. You liked having the mochis around. They all had their part in the household. Alfred’s mochi enjoyed eating and playing videogames with him. Francis’ mochi loved to help him cook and was so loving. Arthur’s mochi enjoyed a good book and a cup of tea with scones. Matthew’s was so kind and soft hearted but never the less enjoyed a good hockey game.
“You want to grab lunch in town?” You asked your mochi as she made a happy squealing noise. “I’m sure the guys can feed themselves for lunch.” You smiled as you thought. “As long as Arthur doesn’t feed them.”
You enjoyed your day out with your mochi. You had a nice lunch and a walk through the park on the way to the corner market. You had your mochi sit in the child seat in the cart while you picked the stuff out for dinner. Your mochi squealed and jumped in the cart as it was happy to be out with you. You picked up a head of lettuce as well seeing they all seemed to like it a lot. You walked up to the cashier as he scanned your items he looked at the happy little mochi.
“Is that your dog?” He asked as you turned to the mochi.
“Uh…sure?”
“Cool.” He smiled. You weren’t even sure if he was all there. You thanked the guy as you took your items and headed out.
“Time to go home ______-mochi.” You smiled as she did as well. You looked up in time to feeling something pulling you back making you drop your bags.
“Give me your purse!” You heard looking back to a man in a dark hoodie holding your arm.
“No! Get away!” Before you could call for help he threw you against the brick wall covering your mouth.
“Now,” He flipped out a knife holding it to your neck. “Give me your purse.” He took the knife and cut your upper left arm to show he wasn’t playing. Your mochi sat there scared as she tried biting at the man’s pants leg.
You looked up at the man as he reached over taking your phone from your hand before you heard a “kol kol kol” sound coming from close by. The man was tackled by a blur of white hitting him. You looked over seeing two other mochis fighting the guy while he was down. One had caramel eyes and a ponytail that stayed to the left. The other had brown eyes and held a katana on its back wrapped in a purple cloth. You looked over not believing what you were seeing as your mochi was at your feet jumping to get your attention. You knelt down as she hopped into your arms as you watched the mochis fight. Suddenly you felt uneasy as you turned seeing a third mochi with a scarf wrapped around the lower half of its body. It had a purple aura around him as he looked at the man with its violet eyes. He joined in the fight as the man struggled to get up running for his life. You looked at the mochis as they all hopped to you. Your eyes met theirs as you held your hand out patting them on their heads.
“Thank you.” You said as they all looked up smiling at you.
