Description
Everything of my own design. Spaceship (from concept sketch base to modeling), the asteroids (just a mismatch of bump maps and generated textures) and the background (node based space background generator of my design, recently upgraded for this picture).I did this spaceship mostly for practice and learning a few things. I am pretty happy with how it came out! ;D
My main idea when I started this was basically "I want a submarine with big rockets in space". This model used a lot of boolean during the modelling, something I had done very little until now! ;D
This took about 5 days on and off. And frankly 2 days were just me figuring out how best to render and set a scene.
Done in Blender 2.79x, rendered in Blender 2.81. Yep, still doing that!
