Appearance details: Morningpaw is a small she-cat with a very fluffy pelt. She has white fur with cream and ginger splotches, as well as large pale blue eyes. She is most often seen with a smile and has a very friendly appearance.
History
Kithood
Morningkit was born in the lake territory, though she doesn’t actually remember it other than a few hazy memories. She was born in a healthy litter of four to a young ThunderClan couple. Her mother, Palemask, cared for her kits deeply and enjoyed spending her time caring for them. Their father, Thrushwhisker, often came to pay them visits. Morningkit’s first month of life was seemingly average, despite the tensions that were rising outside of the nursery. She was isolated and completely unaware of the dangers that the clans were facing.
However, it wasn’t long before Morningkit was affected by the situation troubling the clans. Disease spread and her siblings were quick to fall ill. It seemed that Morningkit was still unaffected by the sickness so she was quick to be separated from her dying littermates. The day that they were separated was the last time that Morningkit ever saw her siblings.
Morningkit would often spend her time confined to either the nursery or the medicine cat den to keep her away from her sick clanmates. Palemask kept her sole remaining daughter as far from any cat suspected to have the disease as possible. She couldn’t even begin to imagine losing her entire litter to the sickness. Her father even began to visit less out of fear that he might accidentally spread the sickness to Morningkit, despite not suffering the disease himself.
A warrior by the name of Starlingcloud kept Morningkit company when her parents were busy and she came to enjoy having her around. Her days in the nursery became a lot more pleasant when she had Starlingcloud to keep her company. But soon Palemask discovered that hiding herself away in the nursery with Morningkit would no longer be an option.
It was announced that they would be seeking out a new territory. Palemask and Thrushwhisker were weary when they heard the news, fearing that their 2 moon old kit would not survive the journey. They couldn’t imagine that she would make it to the new territory, as they had absolutely no idea how long this journey would last.
The Journey
Despite their uncertainty, Palemask and Thrushwhisker hesitantly followed the rest of their clanmates through the mountains in search of a better home. They recognized that they would be unable to survive at the lake any longer and could only hope that they would find a better suited territory on the other side of the mountains. Morningkit stuck close to her parents at all times during the journey, they refused to let her out of their sight. Thrushwhisker would often carry her so that she wouldn’t wander off.
Morningkit didn’t have a complete understanding of the situation that the clans were in and found it exciting that she was able to explore a new place, when before she had been confined solely to the nursery den. She enjoyed seeing and learning new things despite the obvious dangers that they were facing. Despite the tensions amongst the travelling cats, Morningkit was enthusiastic about the journey.
Due to the dangerous nature of the journey, Morningkit was taught to stick close to her clanmates and was strictly warned to never go off on her own. Being exposed to such dangers at a young age caused her to grow up being dependent on her clan and family. Morningkit listened to what she was told and never strayed from the group. She always had someone with her at all times. This caused her to grow up being cautious, and even a bit cowardly. However she continued to try to see the bright side of the journey and enjoyed the amount of time she was spending with other cats.
As they travelled Thrushwhisker dedicated a lot of his time towards hunting. When he wasn’t looking after his mate and kit he was doing his best to feed the clan. By the time they were about two moons into the journey, he was often exhausted and rarely slept. When he brought food back he would often offer it to the younger and weaker cats. He always made sure that his family was fed first. However, this constant exhaustion and starvation was quick to lead him to his death. He had ensured that Palemask and Morningkit were well cared for, but this resulted in his neglect for his own health.
Palemask was completely devastated. First she had lost three of her kits, then her mate. She became much more protective of Morningkit in the following moons as she was the only family that she had left. Palemask was constantly on edge, and when she had been calm and friendly before she was now tired and stressed.
Morningkit was shaken by her father’s death but she refused to lose hope. She felt an odd sense of safety due to the lengths her clanmates were going through to keep the younger cats of the group safe. Cedarstar in particular was constantly doing what she could keep the clan safe and healthy, which put Morningkit at ease. It was at this time that Morningkit’s relationship with Starlingcloud strengthened as she continued to help take care of her.
Morningkit was relatively quick to adapt to traveling once her father was no longer around to carry her. She developed strong legs that would carry her long distances and she became accustomed to scaling rocky cliffs. She would often stick close to Starlingcloud and Palemask as she travelled.
One day, when Morningkit was five moons old, she was traveling up a particularly steep cliff alongside her clanmates. She put her weight on some unstable rocks and lost her footing. She slipped a bit further back than the rest of the group and her mother was quick to rush back to grab her. She was in the process of pushing her back up towards the rest of the clan when Palemask lost her hold on the rocks beneath her as well. Her weight caused the rocks beneath her to give away and Palemask fell much further than Morningkit had.
Morningkit was quickly hoisted back up to join the rest of her clanmates, however Palemask’s body remained motionless further down the mountain. It was hard to see from a distance, but it was apparent that she had taken a harsh blow to the head in the fall. No one was able to reach her body due to the unstable footing so the clan was forced to leave her behind. Morningkit was devastated by the fact that she had lost her mother. Having no one else to turn to, she went to Starlingcloud for comfort.
She spent the rest of the journey by Starlingcloud’s side and absolutely refused to leave her clanmates’ sight. Starlingcloud cared for her in her mother’s place, which Morningkit appreciated because she needed someone to depend on now that she was all alone. She was very close to Starlingcloud and began to see her as a mother.
The Fjords
After all of the danger that Morningkit witnessed, the journey soon came to an end. They finally found their new home and Morningkit eagerly settled into ThunderClan’s new camp. Morningkit was finally given her apprentice ceremony. She had been of age to rank up for a couple of moons now, however it had been delayed due to the journey. Morningkit, now Morningpaw, saw no issue with this and excitedly accepted her new title.
Current
Currently, Morningpaw is continuing to settle into her new home. She is very excited to begin her training and is eager to explore the new territory. She continues to stick close to Starlingcloud, but is always trying to socialize more with the other members of her clan.
She knows that things will continue to be difficult as they begin to settle into the new territory, but as of right now she is happy to just enjoy her new home.

Morningpaw has a very welcoming personality, even towards strangers. Her non-threatening appearance makes her easily approachable. Because of this Morningpaw is quick to make new friends and tends to get along well with others. However, despite her friendly nature Morningpaw knows that her loyalty is to her Clan, so she is quick to put her clanmates first.

Ever since she was a kit Morningpaw has been incredibly perceptive. This ability to pick up on small details has allowed her to learn a lot about the world around her. She spends a lot of her time trying to learn new skills that she hopes will help her in her everyday duties, particularly hunting. However, she also likes to learn a lot about her clanmates which leads to her frequent socializing. Morningpaw believes that knowledge is valuable and is in a constant pursuit of learning new things!

Morningpaw does her best to be enthusiastic about everything she does, no matter how mundane the task. She believes that trying to see the bright side of a situation is a good way to motivate herself and others. Morningpaw is particularly enthusiastic about her training and learning new things. As much as she hates to admit it, she is actually quite the coward when it comes to anything that she would consider remotely creepy. She has a tendency to hesitate in battle which has made her battle training progress quite slow as it often leaves her vulnerable to attacks. While she does like to explore new places she has a fear of dark and confined spaces and it would take a great deal of effort to encourage her to enter such a place.

Being quick to doubt herself, Morningpaw has the tendency to question her own decisions. She has a hard time making decisions without guidance from others. Due to this Morningpaw has a very hard time working independently. When she is forced to make a decision she will often seek the opinion of a higher ranking clanmate or a trustworthy friend.

Other Information:
Due to the fact most of her kithood was spent on the journey, Morningpaw has very strong legs and good endurance. She’s used to travelling for days on end so it takes her a long time to run out of stamina.
Morningpaw has a fear of confined spaces, they make her feel unsafe. Getting stuck in a small space is one of her biggest fears.
She doesn’t remember her siblings because they were separated when she was so young. She has very foggy memories of her days in the nursery, but they usually include her parents. Morningpaw is aware that her siblings had been named before they passed away but she can’t recall them, she couldn’t even tell you what they had looked like.

Absolutely no one could convince him that they weren't lost. Marty let out a heavy sigh as they wandered the ruined streets. It seemed as if this place was once beautiful, a golden shimmer only just barely hidden beneath dust and rubble. Their mission was to explore the area, try to pick out as much important information as they possibly could. But to be completely honest, Marty was much more interested in the thrill of exploring a new place. A ruined city, crawling with viruses. We're getting turned around, but that's all part of the fun! If we run into any trouble I'll save the day no problem, we don't have anything to worry about! Marty thought, walking with his head held high, clearly filled with pride.
He didn't seem to spot anything of any interest. That is until he noticed the obvious change of lighting. A blazing red glow filled the surrounding area, and Marty's gaze quickly locked onto the source. That was it! The gate! Marty whipped his head around to look at his teammates, a huge grin across his face. "C'mon! We should go for it. I meannn, while we're here, we might as well, right?" He gave Azrael a hopeful look before summoning his weapon.
The little purple skateboard landed on the ground in front of him and the anti-virus was quick to hop on. Aiming for the group of cat shaped silhouettes that he could make out against the harsh red light spilling out onto the street. They just had to be viruses! Why else would they be obviously guarding the gate like that? His skateboard lurched forward with the sudden force and he felt himself rolling closer to them. However he barely made it a few paces away from his fellow teammates when one of the front wheels of his skateboard caught on a hole in the pathway beneath him and the skateboard lurched forward, taking Marty with it.
The white cat fell on his face with a yelp. Quickly scrambling to his paws, he pouted at the ground around him. As his gaze swept the surrounding area he realized that the street was in horrible condition. There was rubble scattered as far as the eye could see, and there were small holes and bumps in the pathway that made going fast frustratingly difficult. "Why can't those dumb viruses just keep this place in good condition?" He exclaimed with a childish frown. "I can't believe this. Someone has to look into fixing this place up." Rubbing a paw against his sore snout Marty rejoined his teammates so that he could stand a little closer to them for comfort. However he didn't say a word. He didn’t want the others to realize that he was a bit nervous about this encounter.
