INTRODUCTION

BoomStick: They're two evil, giant, fire-breathing monsters who are super strong, super durable, leaders of their own crews, truly badass.

Wiz: BUT, they're always defeated by a human hero... EVERY SINGLE TIME!

BoomStick: Bowser, the King of the Koopas and arch-enemy of Mario.

Wiz: And Ridley, the space dragon leader of the Space Pirates and arch-enemy of Samus.

BoomStick: He's Wiz and I'm BoomStick.

Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win a death battle!

BOWSER

Wiz: Bowser is the King of the Koopas, owning his own castle and commanding an army of various minions. The infamous Bowser is feared greatly by the residents of the Mushroom Kingdom and well he is a giant, fire-breathing, spiked shelled monster so... that fear is well justified. Despite this, instead of going around terrorizing/murdering everyone as you'd expect a monster like him to do, he instead always kidnaps the Mushroom Kingdom's leader Princess Peach.

BoomStick: For obvious reasons heh heh. But, other times he's tried to take over the entire universe too. But, he's always stopped by that damn Italian plumber Mario! Seriously, how does he always lose to a damn plumber?

Wiz: His trademark and most powerful ability is of course his fire breath. Bowser takes great pride in his fire breath and he should! Bowser's fire breath is very powerful able to reach temperatures of up to 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit! Bowser's fire breath can be shot in large streams or shot out as individual fireballs.

BoomStick: And his fire breath is so powerful it can even work underwater! Now, that's badass! Screw you science, I'm Bowser!

Wiz: Also, since he is a Koopa he is able to get into his shell and spin around. He can use this as an attack as well.

BoomStick: But, it's far more deadly when Bowser does it since his shell is covered in spikes! He's also even able to turn it into a double sided shell with spikes all over. Speaking of his shell like other Koopas it's practically indestructible. And for someone of his weight he's surprisingly agile able to jump extremely high in the air and he can pound the ground so hard that it creates sonic waves.

Wiz: But, he doesn't rely solely on these powers. Bowser is able to traverse the skies and outer space using his personal vehicle the clown car.

CLOWN CAR

BoomStick: Oh yeah! That thing, while it does look stupid it's super helpful. Bowser uses it as a mini-helicopter to fly at extremely fast hypersonic speeds. Plus, it's durable made of hard steel. It's also armed with weapons like dozens of Bob-OMBs, 2 bullet bill blaster cannons, Mecha Koopas, spiked bombs, freakin bowling balls, and even a cannon inside of it's mouth that shoots rapid fire laser beams!? This thing's got it all! I want one!

Wiz: Back to Bowser himself, he also possesses phenomenal strength. He's able to obliterate stone statues and break down walls with 1 punch! However, those are are only his standard strength feats. Bowser has lifted boulders, threw them, and has held up an entire fortress.

BoomStick: Yeah, his strength is pretty impressive but what's REALLY impressive is his durability. He just refuses to die! Bowser has survived falling in lava countless times, being crushed, shattered, his entire castle falling on top of him, and even FALLING DIRECTLY INTO THE SUN!!!

Wiz: Well, this is a bit of an exaggerated misconception much like DK's moon punching feat is. You see it wasn't THE sun, not our earth's sun. It was just A SUN. This is confirmed since the planet that Mario and Bowser were fighting on was surrounded by many suns. The sun Bowser fell into was an average orange sun. An average orange sun at it's highest temperature is 6,499 degrees Celsius/ 11,730 degrees Fahrenheit. At it's lowest temperature it is 4,000 degrees Celsius/7,232 degrees Fahrenheit. So, Bowser tanked a temperature anywhere within this range unscathed.

BoomStick: So... still pretty damn impressive! Plus, he already tanks 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit lava on a regular basis which is the same temperature as his fire breath! Speaking of lava when Bowser falls in it... well you see y'know how the undead version of a Koopa is a dry bones? So, when Bowser falls into lava he becomes Dry Bowser!

DRY BOWSER

Wiz: Wait, hold up! Lava melts him to bones BUT when he falls into a sun he is unscathed?!

BoomStick: The power of inconsistency Wiz!

Wiz: Indeed. Anyway, As Dry Bowser his fire breath increases in power able to shoot blue fire instead of orange fire. Blue fire is twice as hot as orange fire so since Bowser's standard fire breath is 2,000 degrees Farenheit his blue fire breath is 4,000 degrees Fahrenheit. Also he gains the near-indestructible nature of a dry bones due to re-generation.

BoomStick: Think of it like Majin Buu's re-generation, you can blast him to pieces and he'll still re-form. And he's able to de-tach any part of himself and throw it as a weapon. Wow, he really is like Majin Buu except for y'know he's bones instead of bubblegum.

Wiz: Dry Bowser just like Dry Bones's is immune to fire attacks. He also has even higher jumping ability and can make lava rise just by roaring!

BoomStick: Cool form but that's nothing compared to Bowser's ultimate, most powerful form...

Wiz: Wait BoomStick! There's one other form. In Super Mario 3D World Bowser does something people thought he would never do, he used a power-up.

BoomStick: Ooh, awesome! Does he use a fire flower to make his fire breath even stronger to like melt stuff or does he use an ice flower to shoot ice breath?! That'd be really cool! Or does he...

MEOWSER

BoomStick: WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?! Is he... a...

Wiz: Yup, he used a super bell to become a cat version of himself. Officially named Meowser. I'd chalk it up to Nintendo's creativity?... Well, Meowser still has his fire breath now being able to shoot dozens of purple and blue fireballs at once.

BoomStick: Along with of course a bunch of kitty powers! Like climbing up walls, scratching with his claws, and whacking with his... fluffy tail. ...Ok, as cute as this kitty form is let's get to Bowser's most badass, powerful, and ultimate form Giga Bowser!

GIGA BOWSER

Wiz: When Giga Bowser he is a much more gigantic size and as you can see a much scarier look.

BoomStick: Complete with a shell of new, gold,razor sharp-spikes and everything! But, there's way more to Giga Bowser than just size and intimidation. His fire breath is upgraded to fiery lava breath, along with a bunch of other new powers. He's got dark matter punches, can freeze enemies into icicles by spinning his shell, can electrocute them by hitting them with the spikes, and will cause an explosion when he does a headbutt.

Wiz: Overall, Bowser is a formidable foe... when his mind is set straight.

BoomStick: Yeah, he's kinda a total dumbass. This is the reason he keeps losing to a damn plumber. He keeps falling for his own switch traps. He's easily tricked.

Wiz: Technically, he has defeated Mario once but it wasn't legitimate. You see, Bowser stole the star rod, an all powerful weapon which grants any wish so Bowser wished to make himself invincible so he could beat Mario.

BoomStick: Yeah, but he at least he does manage to get his hands on Mario's girl a lot. Come on Wiz, I think we all know what he does with Peach behind the scenes hehe... he wins in my book.

Wiz: ... Shut up. Anyway, overall when Bowser gets his act together you don't want to mess with him.

( Shows Kamek using magic on Bowser when Bowser falls into lava. Several seconds later, a giant Bowser pops out of the lava killing Kamek. Bowser roars in anger and starts clawing and breaking down walls trying to get to and kill Mario.)

RIDLEY

Wiz: Ridley is the purple dragon leader of the space pirates and arch-enemy of the bounty hunter Samus Aran.

Wiz: Ridley and his crew invaded Samus's Earth colony K-2L when she was just a little girl.

BoomStick: Ridley murdered Samus's parents right in front of her... and everyone else on the planet EXCEPT for Samus. Ridley would regret this mistake about 10 times over give or take.

Wiz: Indeed, when Samus grew up she became a suited bounty hunter who with her skills and various arsenal of weaponry would defeat Ridley every single time.

BoomStick: But, he always survived somehow even when his body had exploded.

Wiz: Yes, Ridley is infamous for his ability to cheat death on multiple occasions. So much, that he is referred to as the " Cunning God Of Death" in the official artwork of Zero Mission.

DEATH CHEATS:

.His survival of the destruction of K2-L by consuming the bodies of the dead humans healing himself, according to the manga.

.His "resurrection" as Meta Ridley following his first defeat by Samus on Zebes.

.Having survived his fall on the Impact Crater by seemingly fusing with Phazon and later transformed into Omega Ridley after his defeat on Norion.

.In Super Metroid, he returns with a purely organic body with no traces of Phazon.

.He is unintentionally cloned by the Galactic Federation.

. An X Parasite mimics his DNA, transforming him into Neo-Ridley.

BoomStick: And he never goes down without a good fight either! Ridley's trademark power is his fire breath which he can breathe as a large stream or large fireballs. While fighting hand-to-hand, Ridley primarily makes use of his lethal claws, talons, and tail. And of course being a dragon he can of course fly at fast speeds with his wings.

Wiz: But his most fascinating aspect is his skin. Ridley is able to change the pigments of it and harden it for extra defense. This also allows him to camouflage with his surroundings. And despite being a bloodthirsty monster who enjoys the death of others and destruction, making him seemingly mindless, Ridley is actually an intelligent battle tactician winning many battles against other powerful monsters through clever strategy.

BoomStick: Yeah, yeah this is all cool but let's move on to his alternate forms!

Wiz: Sure thing, after Samus defeats Ridley in the depths of Norfair, the Space Pirate camp on Zebes recovered his remains. Ridley was "resuscitated" and had to go through a painful metamorphosis to become the cyborg behemoth. After completion, some of the early Pirate tests showed a huge increase in mobility, strength, and offensive potential and capabilities. They also added cybernetic modules and armor plating. With this transformation he had become Meta Ridley!

META RIDLEY

Wiz: As Meta Ridley, with his new wings, he has the ability to fly through space unaided. He's also built with extremely resistant armor.

BoomStick: But the best part is that he has a shitload of powerful weapons built into his body. Like his Kinetic breath weapon, a giant, red plasma laser beam shot from his mouth. The Meson bomb launcher drops bombs powerful enough to damage the landscape. With the UltraThermal Flamestrike Projector creates a fiery shockwave by slamming the ground, and he has the Multi-missile system to well... shoot multiple missiles of course!

Wiz: But, when Meta Ridley further infuses himself with Phazon he transforms into his even more powerful form Omega Ridley!

OMEGA RIDLEY

Wiz: As Omega Ridley his strength and defense skyrocket to insane levels however he is relatively slower than Meta Ridley.

BoomStick: And he's armed with a shitload more weapons. Omega Ridley can shoot an enhanced form of the Kinetic Breath Weapon which shoots a massive red plasma laser beam and fire at the same time along with an enhanced version of the Meson bomb launcher which can carpet-bomb an entire area. He can shoot homing fireballs, blast phazon from his tail, produce a phazon blade, and even create an electric cage structure to trap foes via shockwave.

Wiz: All of these powers and death cheating may make Ridley seem like he's invincible but really he's not.

BoomStick: Yeah, even the " Cunning God Of Death" couldn't avoid death forever. In Super Metroid Ridley finally legitimately dies, his body combusts and breaks apart, with every single individual piece disintegrating into ashes.

Wiz: And while Ridley is intelligent his arrogance and cockiness can leave him vulnerable in battle. But overall Ridley is the space dragon who will always cheat death in what ever way possible and ensure everyone else's death.

BoomStick: Except Samus's of course!

( Ridley is shown burning down K-2L and laughing, enjoying the suffering and destruction he is inflicting.)

PRE-BATTLE

Wiz: Alright, the combatants are set! Let's end this debate once and for all!

BoomStick: It's time for a DEATH BATTLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BATTLE

Bowser is sitting in his throne room with Bowser Jr and 4 Koopa kids on guard. Suddenly, Kamek flies in with urgent news.

Kamek: Lord Bowser! I bring urgent news...

Kamek notices the pictures of Peach on the wall.

Kamek: ...Um, when did these get here?

Bowser: Forget that! Just spit it out already old man!

Kamek: Right! A purple dragon is burning down and destroying the Mushroom Kingdom!

Bowser: WHAT?! Destruction is my job! I don't believe this!

Kamek: See for yourself!

Kamek flies towards Bowser and takes out his crystal ball. Everyone huddles around to see, in the crystal ball it shows Ridley flying around burning down Toad houses and killing Toads burning them to ashes or eating them. After destroying the entire Toad village and killing all of the Toads, Ridley flies towards Bowser's Castle! Kamek starts panicking.

Kamek: Oh NO! He's coming for us!

Bowser Jr: Don't worry, daddy is the strongest! He can take em.

Bowser: Yes, that's right son! This pterodactyl punk i'snt gonna burn down this castle! I'm gonna burn this freak to ashes!

Bowser runs towards a wall and punches it hard breaking a large part of it open.

Kamek: WAIT, Lord Bowser! It can fly and you can't! You're at a disadvantage!

Bowser: Since when can I not fly?

Bowser snaps his fingers as his minions the Koopa Kids carry in Bowser's Koopa Clown Car. Bowser jumps inside of it and turns on it's propellers activating it to fly.

Kamek: ... Oh right... I forgot about your Koopa clown car.

Bowser: Enough talk! I'm ending this.

Bowser flies outside in the Clown Car when he suddenly sees Ridley standing down on a platform below just waiting. The platform he is on is surrounded by lava in Bowser's Castle. Bowser flies down to Ridley and parks his Koopa Clown Car on a thwomp. Bowser then jumps out of it onto the platform in front of Ridley.

Bowser: I'm gonna burn you back into a fossil you pterodactyl freak!

Ridley: Fool, I'll cook you in the lava and make turtle soup.

FIGHT!

Bowser immediately punches Ridley off of the platform but Ridley instantly flies up in the air and they shoot a fireball at each other, the fireballs hit each other and both explode in flame. Bowser breathes a large stream of fire at Ridley as Ridley breathes a large stream of plasma at Bowser. The attacks collide with each other. They both keep breathing more and more until both attacks blast through each other and they both get hit by each other's fiery attacks both set on fire. They both brush it off suffering burns. Ridley then lands back on the platform and attacks Bowser up close scratching him with his claws but Bowser punches him hard multiple times back hurting him and quickly gets into his shell and does a spinning shell attack on Ridley jabbing him with his spiked shell. Ridley then grabs Bowser's shell and is about to throw it in the lava but Bowser transforms into into a double sided shell that pierces Ridley with spikes all over. Ridley screams in pain. Ridley detaches himself from the spikes and flies into the air and charges up and breathes a large blast of plasma breath at Bowser again and shoots it. But Bowser stays in his shell which protects him from the attack. Ridley stops shooting it, realizing it's not working. Bowser then quickly and unexpectedly from inside his shell shoots a large fireball at Ridley that hits him and knocks him into a wall. He is set on fire but brushes it off suffering burns. Ridley gets mad and charges up his plasma breath as much as he can. Ridley blasts it at Bowser, who still gets protected by his shell but the force of it is so strong it knocks Bowser's shell back knocking him off the platform into his clown car. Bowser gets out of his shell and flies up in front of Ridley.

Ridley: I must admit, you're a strong and impressive opponent. Your fire breath is even just as hot as my plasma and that shell is extremely durable. But, it appears you need a machine to fly. This is where I have the advantage.

Bowser: HA, don't flatter yourself bub! I'm Bowser, the King of the Koopas! You may be strong dragon, but I'm the strongest around. Yeah, I need a machine to fly because I'm not a mutant, pre-historic freak like you!

Ridley: I'm sensing high levels of arrogance and stupidity.

Bowser: Shut up!

Bowser shoots multiple fireballs at Ridley as Ridley shoots multiple Plasma fireballs back. Sure enough, the attacks just hit each other and disperse in flame. Both sick of this, they then fly fast at each other, Bowser clicks a button in the clown car activating two bullet bill launchers. He shoots several red, homing bullet bills at Ridley. Ridley easily destroys them with his plasma breath. Bowser then clicks another button which opens the mouth of the clown car which reveals a cannon. The cannon starts shooting multiple small laser beams. Ridley easily flies above and dodges.

Ridley: HA, your weapons are pre-historic! How slow were those? 10 miles per hour?

Bowser: Hey! My minions build these things for me. They're idiots.

Ridley: Whatever fool, prepare to die!

Bowser breathes fire breath at Ridley but Ridley flies up dodging it and then quickly swoops down on Bowser and digs his claws into Bowser's face. Bowser is about to breathe fire again but Ridley holds Bowser's mouth closed. Bowser starts punching Ridley hard breaking his rib-cage but Ridley still holds on. Ridley then breathes plasma breath all over Bowser and repeatedly scratches him with his foot claws and piercing with his spear tail pulling off a vicious, brutal combo. Bowser then finally breaks the combo by grabbing Ridley's tail and pulls Ridley's claws out of him. Bowser then flies over with Ridley and repeatedly slams him against a wall repeatedly. Bowser then pins Ridley against the wall with his spiked shell piercing through him. Ridley screams in pain as Bowser laughs.

Bowser: HA! How do you like it?

Ridley tries to pull Bowser out of the clown car but he's too heavy to lift. So Ridley then starts biting Bowser's head. Bowser retaliates by then holding Ridley's mouth closed but Ridley repeatedly scratches Bowser's arms making him let go. Ridley then keeps biting his head as Bowser has an idea. Bowser attaches spiked bombs all over Ridley, keeping him pinned to the wall. Bowser then puts a Mecha-Koopa inside of Ridley's mouth which crawls down his throat and he quickly de-teaches himself from Ridley and flies several feet away and turns around looks at him and makes an evil smile.

Bowser: Sayonara!

Bowser clicks a button in the clown car that detonates all of the spiked bombs on Ridley blasting him through the wall destroying it. Bowser laughs maniacally.

Bowser: BWHWHAHAHAHA!!!!!! Told ya you were no match for me!

But, the smoke from the explosion clears and reveals that Ridley is alive and completely intact!

Bowser: WHAT?! You should have been blown to pieces! I even put a Mecha-Koopa explosive down your throat!

Ridley: You mean this?

Ridley is holding the Mecha-Koopa which he then clenches hard in his hand disintegrating it to pieces. Bowser eye's widen in shock.

Ridley: Fool, I'm the Cunning God Of Death. I've survived far worse than your explosive little toys. Speaking of which...

Ridley quickly flies below Bowser's Koopa Clown Car and rips off the helicopter blades so it can't fly. Bowser and his clown car then fall down to the lava. Ridley flies down standing on a platform laughing sure that it's over. But as Bowser is falling down in his clown car towards the lava he uses his high jumping skills to jump out towards a wall leaving the Koopa Clown Car behind which is melted by the lava. Bowser knows he can't hold onto walls. He only has 1 choice but he doesn't like it. In mid-air Bowser takes out a super bell and puts it on transforming into the cat counterpart of himself, Meowser, who then claws onto the wall.

Without giving Ridley any time to make fun of his new form, Meowser breathes fire breath of a huge shower of dozens of purple fireballs at Ridley. Ridley shoots plasma to counter and destroy them. Ridley successfully destroys most of them but some purple fireballs hit his head melting into him with their extreme heat hurting him a lot. Ridley flies straight at Meowser and they get in a scratching fight. They constantly claw and scratch each other, Meowser winning with his sharper kitty claws. Ridley gets angered and charges up plasma but Meowser gets into his shell for defense. Ridley shoots the plasma breath but Meowser's shell protects him. Ridley grabs his shell but Meowser whacks Ridley in the face multiple times with his fluffy tail. Ridley gets annoyed and then grabs Meowser's tail and pulls him off the wall, causing Meowser to fall in the lava screaming in pain, melting, and even making cat meow noises.

Ridley: Have a nice lava bath kitty!

Ridley roars in victory.

Ridley: HA, fool nobody messes with the leader space pirate.

Ridley is about to fly away but he suddenly sees something boiling in the lava. A skeletal form of Bowser slowly submerges up from the lava, it is none other than Dry Bowser! Dry Bowser roars in extreme anger causing the lava to rise. Ridley is in shock, he can't believe what he is seeing.

Ridley: WHAT?! I thought I was the Cunning God Of Death! What are you?!

Dry Bowser: DID YOU REALLY THINK I'D BE KILLED THAT EASILY?!

Dry Bowser breathes a large blast of powerful, blue fire at Ridley. Ridley shoots plasma breath back at it but the blue fire destroys the plasma and the blue fire hits and burns Ridley severely. Ridley knew he had to power-up. Ridley takes out a tube of Phazon he had kept in his ear and injects himself with it. He starts becoming metallic with cybernetic plating transforming into Meta Ridley! Dry Bowser and Meta Ridley set down in front of each other on the platform witnessing each other's new forms.

Dry Bowser: Metal huh? That could be a problem.

Meta Ridley: This will be your problem!

Meta Ridley shoots a powerful, red, plasma laser beam at Dry Bowser. Dry Bowser gets in his shell for defense. But, it's not enough. The plasma laser beam blasts Dry Bowser to pieces.

Meta Ridley: Rest in pieces!

Meta Ridley flies away into the sky sure it's over but on the ground Dry Bowser's pieces start shaking. All of his bone pieces float in the air and form together re-forming Dry Bowser back together completely. Dry Bowser roars extremely loudly causing the lava to rise drastically up at Meta Ridley. Meta Ridley feels the heat coming, turns around and sees. Meta Ridley with his enhanced fast speed flies faster escaping the lava. Meta Ridley then drops Meson Bombs down at Dry Bowser. Dry Bowser destroys the bombs with blue fire. Meta Ridley flies down towards Dry Bowser blasting another plasma laser beam at him. Dry Bowser gets in his shell again defending. He is blasted to pieces once more, Meta Ridley then quickly shoots missiles at the individual pieces blasting them into smaller pieces that fall in the lava. Inside the lava these smaller pieces still re-form and Dry Bowser comes back together. Dry Bowser detaches a few bones from himself and throws them at Meta Ridley from underneath the lava. The bones simply bounce off his armor but this move leaves him confused.

Meta Ridley: What the?

Dry Bowser then quickly jumps out landing on the platform and blasts Meta Ridley with blue fire setting him on fire but he easily brushes it off and it doesn't hurt or burn him at all due to his extremely resistant steel armor. Sick of this not going anywhere and wanting to end this Meta Ridley decides to further inject himself with phazon. He becomes crystal color looking transforming him into Omega Ridley!

Omega Ridley: This is the end for you turtle! This is my ultimate form!

Omega Ridley blasts a 2x stronger, further enhanced plasma laser beam mixed with plasma fire at Dry Bowser, but Dry Bowser roars angrily and starts gaining back skin and growing to a larger size. He is surrounded by a green glowing aura until he then transforms into Giga Bowser! Giga Bowser's transformation destroys the attack as he roars in extreme ferocity.

Giga Bowser: BEHOLD MY ULTIMATE FORM!!!

However, Omega Ridley immediately traps Giga Bowser in an electrical cage structure. Omega Ridley then flies up and continuously blasts Giga Bowser with red plasma beam blasts hurting him continuously and shooting large fireballs blasting him with those too. Omega Ridley then sets down Meson bombs in the cage but Giga Bowser freezes them with a spinning ice shell move. Giga Bowser then gets extremely angered and blows the electrical cage up with an explosive head attack. Giga Bowser is enraged and jumps up high into the air, grabs Omega Ridley and slams him down to the ground. Giga Bowser burns him with fire lava, electrocutes him with a spiked shell attack, and then crushes him to the ground by ground pounding leaving him stuck in place extremely injured. As a last resort, Omega Ridley barely manages to move his arm and take out a phazon blade. He whips it at Giga Bowser but Giga Bowser destroys it with a dark matter punch. Giga Bowser then picks up Omega Ridley and rips him in half! Giga Bowser then continuously shreds and tears apart the rest of him and burning all of the individual pieces to ashes. Giga Bowser roars in victory. Kamek and Bowser Jr fly over from the Castle's throne room window on Kamek's broomstick congratulating him, they had been watching the fight the entire time.

Kamek: Well done sir! Well done!

Bowser Jr: That was awesome daddy!

Giga Bowser: NOBODY MESSES WITH THE KING OF THE KOOPAS!!!!!!!!!!

KO!

BoomStick: DAMN! I'm 100% sure he won't be back this time!

Wiz: This was extremely close, both of these death cheating monsters have a wide varied arsenal of deadly attacks and are nearly impossible to legitimately kill. Ridley has superior intelligence and speed but Bowser was far physically stronger and leagues more durable. Ridley's greatest display of strength is being able to pick up Samus and drag her across walls. Not really impressive for a monster his size, while Bowser has lifted boulders and lifted an entire fortress.

BoomStick: Ridley, even though being " the cunning God Of Death" was actually killed in Super Metroid and the Ridley that Samus encounters ever since then was not him resurrected but it was actually a clone! Bowser has never died, not from any of it! Not even when falling straight into the sun while Ridley's death was from a way lesser thing.

Wiz: With their alternate forms Meta Ridley and Omega Ridley certainly were formidable and had more versatile and deadlier weaponry than Bowser's but Dry Bowser and Giga Bowser's sheer durability pulled through thanks to Bowser's shell giving him an extra layer of protection to survive Ridley's even most lethal attacks. Even Ridley's edge in flight no longer became a factor as Bowser even without the clown car's flight can jump thousands of feet in the air.

BoomStick: Once Bowser went Giga Bowser things were all wrapped up. His extreme strength, psychic powers, gigantic size, and bulk were too much for even Omega Ridley.

Wiz: And even in base forms Bowser had with a combination of extremely hot fire breath and a spiked shell to counter Ridley's plasma. With all of these things considered even Ridley's edge in intelligence couldn't find a way to trick Bowser into defeat.

BoomStick: Ridley's now resting in pieces... Bowser sure sent him to... SHELL.

Wiz: The winner is Bowser

. Despite the same outcome, the battle itself was drastically changed from how it was when FireMaxPyro originally wrote it on the Death Battle Fanon Wiki.

. This version went through a long series of re-writings and erasings as FireMaxPyro was often unsatisfied with the way it played out multiple times.

. In the original version, there was a scene where Dry Bowser snuck underneath a secret hatch in the lava to reach back into his throne room to ask his minions to build him another clown car in which Meta Ridley breaks in the room and destroys the clown car and kills the Koopa Kid minions who built it for him. Then, Meta Ridley sees Bowser's Princess Peach pictures and flies off to kill Peach at Bowser's expense in which Bowser saves her. This whole scene was cut because it was wasting too much time and made a huge gap between actual fighting. It's a death battle, not a whole story FireMaxPyro figured.

. This is the first time FireMaxPyro used pictures during the battle and used sprites.

. The battle pictures were created by FireMaxPyro by searching up google pictures and dragging and pasting sprites onto them.

. An actual picture of Meowser was used because a Meowser sprite could not be found.

. Meowser was considered to just not be used at all, but was later decided everything must be considered.

. FireMaxPyro considered having Ridley fight Charizard but felt that despite Bowser not being a dragon he still has more in common with Ridley than Charizard. Plus, Ridley beats Charizard too easily and someone else on Deviantart had already done the matchup.
