Day 01 - Pact
I found his word to be difficult to illustrate. The only one I could think about was the countless hours that I talk to myself in the mirror I made a pact I suppose with myself that I will make it through school and I will create art for a living, and guess what, I did it 😊 (and still working on it). I spent a lot and I mean a LOT of time in front of the mirror, not because I liked what I saw, but because I want to like what I saw! I realised that I had to work on my own mental health in order to be able to achieve my goals and to survive every day life. So I spent hours motivating myself. Eventually I started liking what I saw in the mirror but it took me years.
I remember the day I realised that I actually liked the guy in the mirror, when people gifted me mirrors, I took this as a hint I had achieved confidence, it took me nearly 7 years to achieve this and realise it😅
Even today I talk to myself in the mirror, however not nearly as much as I used to. I make a point to, first thing in the morning look into my own eyes and say good morning I love you. it’s all about acknowledging yourself on all the levels and all dimensions❤️ I feel like this has been an extremely important building block for me to be able to achieve and master myself and my challenges.

I joined #childhoodweekevent again this year 😁 I first joined in 2018 and had a great time, but haven’t been able to join again until now 😁
I have taken this opportunity to try out new things that I do not normally do 😊 Also decided to go with a design that was closer to how I actually looked and not the I Am Dyslexic - Short Animated Film art style that I usually go for ✨
