Nice work! Before reading your comment, one of the first things I thought was that the piece would be an awesome album cover. haha
It makes me think of the song imaginary bars by great lake swimmers.

Ah, a little hidden treasure again! You design covers? Cool, I dreamt of doing it too when I was starting to get into art. : )
I wouldn't come to the idea to put glasses on his nose, but it looks great, very modern. [although still nostalgical] And I love the facture of the colors. Great job.
