After awhile, they wipe there eyes and went for a walk. Alastor told them so much about the forest and such. It was going well until they came to a split path with a short, flat top tree. When Alastor saw this tree he stop dead in his tracks. Then he walk over to it and put his hand on it. He look very upset.
Megan: Allie. What is it, what's wrong?
Alastor sadly: This tree, this path. This is where I saw my mother last! (puts hand over eyes) Oh god Megan.

Alastor: It's when the angel's of heaven come down to slay other demons to make hell less crowded. Anyway, mother and I we're here and running from the angels, in our animal forms. Annabelle got really hurt and was else where.
The angels were catching up when got to this path. We stop at this path and tree. That's when we split up. I told mother there was a cave down the path on the left. (The all start walking down the path as Alastor talked.) Mother took it and I stood behind and fought the angels off.
When I done, I quickly run to the cave, call out for her but...
At this point they reach the cave Alastor was talking about. It was short but wide.
Alastor sad: Mother was not here. I look everywhere for her. I fallow her foot prints and saw she didn't make it the cave. Just a few away did her tracks stop. I also saw a few angel feathers. I search this place for any sign of her, even got my brother to help, with his nose and all.
We have been looking anything that might have happen that day to her but so far we are not really any closer to finding her. We don't even know if shes alive or not.
All I know is, I blame myself for what happen. If only we staid together. If only I haven't told her to go to this cave...
Alastor starts to cry again.
Megan: There, there, Alastor. You had no way of knowing. It's not your fault.
Alastor: (sighs) I guess. But I still blame myself. You know, the last thing we said to each other was how much we love each other and how proud she was of me. I think about that a lot. Oh mother, where did you go?

Alastor lead them to the swamp part of the forest. It was beautiful swamp with all kinds of sounds and smells. Alastor took in a deep breath.
Alastor: Aw. This is favorite place in all of hell! Next to hotel of course. But this place reminds me of my home, back in Louisiana. I love the swamp!
You know, summer was my favorite time of the year. My sisters and brothers and I, would go out at night and chase and try to catch the fireflys. Oh, it was so much fun! We would always try and see who can catch the most fireflys. Oh, how love seeing them. Little lights all around you and I love the way they tickled.
I really love falling on back and making them come out of the weeds. And I really, really, love laughter it brought to us. ( wipes away a tear) (sighs) Those summer nights are some of the best memorys I have. Ok, kids. Go, play. I'm sure your love the swamp as much as I do.

After awhile a doctor came to see you, show some X-rays of Al' stomach and it will be difficult to operate because his very skinny and very ticklish.
Doctor: We are worry about cutting him open. We are thinking of just draining the blood out of his tum-tum and letting it heal on it's own. Thinks to his familiar healing powers, that will happen. It will just a while and he can't really move and he will be in a great deal of pain but ha says his willing to do it.

You and the kids left to let Al sleep and Annabelle stood inside him to take care of things and help move things along. Morning comes and Al is all better. But tells no one and sneaks home. Megan was still asleep as well as the Almor and Almer. He gets in the bed with them and gos right back to sleep with them, holding them in his arms.
Al as he falls asleep: I never want to be away from you, my family ever again.

The alarm went off at 8:15 a.m. and Megan turn it off. The kids got up as well and we're ready for breakfast and going to see dad, when they relies daddy was here!
