It was time for training.

Elmlight had been paired with Duskhawk and Basilflower, two other Riverclan boys, though ones that he wasn't particularly familiar with. Or familiar with at all, actually. Admittedly, Elmlight felt like a bit of the odd one out- he was the only one of the trio that was a mismash of colors, not simply black or black and white. It was a stupid thing to be conscious of, he realized, but it didn't help offset his feelings any. It was just... who he was, even if it was stupid.

And so, Elmlight kept to himself for the entirety of their training, focusing on doing things right. Being a healer was something that interested him. Helping out, without the battles and without the worry... but was he good enough for it? Or would the cats under his care wish they'd just die already so they wouldn't have to put up with him? He had a few more weeks to decide who he wanted Elmlight to be, so he simply threw himself into his learning and wished he had the foggiest idea what he was actually good at.
