I got the idea for this one while watching the movie "Sweeney Todd Demon Barber of Fleet Street." It was weird for me seeing Alan Rickman in the movie, because I'm so used to him being Prof. Snape in Harry Potter. Then I started placing actors in the movie from other rolls they had played in my head (ie: Helena Bonham Carter as Bellatrix, and Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow) when a thought occurred to me: Imagine how much damage he could do if he had scissors for hands, like in Edward Scissorhands! Then I couldn't resist, and the rest is history.Unfortunately, the scissors didn't scan very well, and I'm not sure how to fix it!

I need to make a minor correction here. I thought you meant the movie where Johnny Depp was dressed in drag was based on a true story, not Public Enemies. I knew Public Enemies was based on a true story...hell, one of the bank scenes was shot where the real guy (I can't think of his name to save my life!) actually robbed when he was alive! That was the coolest part! It made the local news and everything!

no the one of him dressed in drag is also based on a true story as well! both 'Ed Wood' and 'Before Night Falls' were based on real people too.

I was only vaguely aware of Johnny Depp before I saw POTC, and on the way out of the theater after seeing the first one, I was just raving about Jack Sparrow when my friend goes, "Wow, Johnny Depp did a really good job." I said, "Wait, Johnny Depp was in that movie?" He goes, "Yeah, who do u think played Jack Sparrow?" I swear, I didn't even recognize him at first, because the last time I saw him in a movie, he wasn't looking very hot (What's Eating Gilbert Grape)
