Directly connected to the big man Satan himself, Polyp is a Huge Collective of demons that have been absorbed into satan. They act as an auditor of a sort, visiting the many offices in hell to make sure they're up to snuff and well oiled. Any demon can be 'promoted' and end up absorbed into the hivemind, seemingly chosen by random.
The last dude absorbed was dating Burn at the time, to which they swiftly broke up due to Burn not being too keen on the idea of dating 1 and several hundred other people at the same time.
