I've wanted to make one of these for a long time now.
So, I finally did. -3-
It's very lazily done, but overall, I'm happy with it.

An Earthchild is a canine-like creature that I created a long time ago. They can appear as any type of canine, though are mostly seen as Coyotes. They grow out of the ground and have no mouths or eyes. The sun is their nourishment, and they either soak in water, or depend on rain, to keep from drying up, and wilting away. Female Earthchildren are known to bloom during the spring, while the matured male's vine or grass-like hair lengthens in size.

Earthchildren are very rare, and never, EVER go near humans, or anywhere near civilization. If they are taken from their homes, they will die, no doubt, in a matter of days.

Earthchildren are very gentle, and worship the land they were born from. They speak with their minds and actions, and care for all around them without question, in any way they can.

Some Earthchildren even have special powers. Be it helping flowers bloom, or helping saplings grow. They never use their powers for anything selfish.
