"They say I'm not a bad father. I'm a good daddy. But... why am I a good dad? How am I a good dad? When all I did was yell at my family, get angry a lot, and lock myself away from my own kids? How and why am I a good father? And not a bad father?"This is inspired by what I studied about parents with depression. I don't have depressed parents, but I did study a bit. When it comes to depressed parents, the parents would be more angry and negligent of their kids and it eventually "rubs off" on the kids and/or make the kids think it's their fault for making their parent(s) depressed, until the parent(s) tell them about their condition. I used that knowledge and drew this.
In the future of the BE AU, Bendy still suffers from depression. He and Darla eventually got married and had three kids, but because of his depression, their bond with their father is a big mess. But one day, the truth of Bendy's condition was told and the kids understood why. And they gave him a hug to show he's not a bad father. But Bendy doesn't understand, since all he did was be a bad father. Angry a lot and sometimes even negligent. But getting hugged by their kids made him truly want to cry again since he didn't deserve their love. He also gets reassurance and love from Darla too.
