This is Solaritia in her spirit form. She's not dead, but she basically just transforms her body into the element she controls (she becomes a dragon shaped sun). Since she's in her spirit form, she can change her size and appearance at will (was seen in a will-o-wisp form). Why does she do this? Many reasons, including observing mortals, watching over Drakenovia in space, creating auroras for special days and events, and when she gets really angry. She even uses it to pretend to be a familiar to a human friend who can do magic. Solaritia mostly uses it when she gotta go big or small when doing deity duties.

Inspirations are mostly from Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel, as well as the fact that deities in media are often taking form in their elements
