a TROJAN!? Dude, are you 100% sure!? I have NO idea how you could have gotten a trojan from this. I have no problem with it at all and neither do other people, I even asked my friend to download it and she had no problems either.

I am so sorry for this, I really am stumped as to how you got a trojan from a PMD file anyways. All I did was make it naked in 3DCG, turn it into a PMD file through Tso2Pmd and edit it in PMD Editor! No strings attached! I'm going to do more research into this, this is really weird. Thanks for telling me by the way.

Still, are you 100% certain that it was the NJXA base?? And did you use any program other than WinRAR to extract the file?

I am sure. I used WinRaR for it. When I extracted it, it showed a tree. I deleted that and made a folder and extracted the files in it. Then I opened up PMD Editor and I fixed the body texture. After I did that, on the right bottom corner of my screen said something like "Malware Attacks", & then it said I had a Trojan so I removed it immediately, but in the middle of the process the folder with your base dissapeared and PMD Editor shut down because it couldn't find the right file.

Okay, I changed the folder icon to a tree because I thought it was prettier than the regular old binder xD The problem is that you deleted the folder, I think. It most likely corrupted the files and your computer recognized it as a virus attack. I probably shouldn't have changed the folder icon because it DOES look a little suspicious.

Okay, here's what might be wrong:


1. You extracted only the PMD file and not the textures with it.

2. You have other texture files from 3DCG named "t00whatever.bmp" in the same folder that you extracted the file to, which means you'll have to rename the textures in PMDE.

PS: Inside MMD, it has colors/textures, but in PMDE the head is the only one with color.

Oh I know what your problem is. Do any of your files come up in gibberish? As in, do they look like "á¶zÄìê" or anything similar to that? You need to change your system locale to Japanese. It's REALLY easy, just google it. The reason it has colours and textures in MMD is because MMD recognizes them, but after it goes through PMDE it processes the textures and can't read the gibberish because Japanese symbols are entered into the name boxes.

OR, if you put the file and texture into another folder with OTHER textures from 3DCG called "t012" or anything like that, you need to just put it into it's own folder.

okay okay...
1st. No, they don't come up gibberish.
2nd. My Laptop is already set in Japanese as my system locale.
3rd. I never mess up with the textures, it's all in the same folder as extracted as it should be.
4th. Yes, these files are written as t00--.

I have a question though. Does the version of PMDE affects the models?
This is my reason: I'm using PMDE English Version, maybe because the reason this is happening is that you "might" have used PMDE Original (Japanese).

I don't have any Japanese PMDE, but if that really is the case. Mind giving me the Japanese PMDE?

I DID use the Japanese PMDE, but I don't know why that'd affect anything. I can link you but it might be hard to transition from the English to Japanese. I myself am not able to read Japanese but there's little letters in brackets like (w) at the end of each sentence so it makes things easier.

Hi, I've got a question for you, and it's related here.

I think I'm having the same problem.
I'm using the PMDE English Version, I extracted the rar file into the folder, all with its textures and stuff, but when I open it on PMDE, the head part of the base is the only one with color, while the whole body doesn't have any.

Any Idea how to solve this?
