Description
This is my second scorecard filled-up overall after my "Pixar Protagonists Scorecard". I love DreamWorks so freaking much that I wanted to do this. If you disagree with me, then I respect your opinion.Who is my favourite?:
Z from Antz (1998)-An ant who wants to become a soldier in ant war, he is a really cool ant with a complex story, development and personality. I think he is way much cooler than Flik from Pixar's A Bug's Life (also released in 1998). He and Moses are one of my childhood friends and heroes.
Moses from The Prince of Egypt (1998)-Man, this guy is so god damn amazing! Nothing else to say.
Chel from The Road to El Dorado (2000)-details coming soon
Ginger from Chicken Run (2000)-She is one of the best animated chickens I have ever seen. I love the movie, since my childhood. Ginger is one of my childhood friends and heroes.
Spirit from Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron (2002)-He was an awesome horse that has a really cool story and personality, yet is the one of the most muted protagonists from a DreamWorks film. He is one my childhood friends and heroes.
Wallace and Gormit from Wallace and Gormit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit (2005) and the franchise in general (1989-)-Wallace was an amazing man and Gormit is a really smart dog, yet he is another one of the most muted characters from a DreamWorks and Ardman film.
Po from the Kung Fu Panda franchise (200
Poppy from Trolls (2016)-She was so freaking amazing and as funny as a kookaburra.
Who I love?:
Miguel and Tulio from The Road to El Dorado (2000)-These two guys are really funny to me and are one of my childhood friends and cheerers who make me happy.
Shrek from the 2001- DreamWorks animated franchise of the same name (preferably 1 and 2-2001 and 2004)-He is a really cool ogre in the first two films, but he has declined in Shrek the Third (2007). Though he has been refreshed, but didn't like him as much as in the first 2 films in Shrek Forever After (2010). And like Z, Moses, Ginger, Spirit, Wallace and Gormit and Po, he is one of my childhood friends and heroes.
Sinbad from Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas (2003)-details coming soon
Rj from Over the Hedge (2006)-He is a really cool and lovable jerk to hanging out with. He is one of my childhood friends and heroes. Bruce Wills did amazing as him. Though not as amazing as Rainbow Dash from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (2010), he is still very cool.
Susan from Monsters vs Aliens (2009)-details coming soon
Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III (or Hiccup for short) from the How to Train Your Dragon franchise (2010-)-How did he get strange full name? Every single moment with him and Toothless are awesome and top-notch.
Megamind from the 2010 DreamWorks film of the same name-
Puss in Boots from the Shrek franchise, starting of with Shrek 2 (2004-) and the 2011 DreamWorks film of the same name-
Jack Frost from Rise of the Guardians (2012)- Yeah he's a pretty cool guy, but his human version was quite a bit lazy. I think this version of Jack Frost is way much cooler and better than the Jack Frost from the Rainbow Magic book series and franchise (Yep I hate Jack Frost from Rainbow Magic) (2003-).
Epp from The Croods (2013)-details coming soon
Mr Peabody and Sherman from the 2014 DreamWorks film of the same name-Even though I have never really watched the original cartoon, the movie was very cool and the duo are awesome as hell.
Rico, Skipper, Private and Kowalski from the Madagascar franchise (2005-) and The Penguins of Madagascar (2014)-These penguins will always be my favourite characters from the Madagascar franchise. I'm not really a fan of the first two films of Madagascar (2005 and 2008), but these penguins are cool and awesome with their own personality.
George Bread and Harold Hutchins from Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie (2017)-They are easily my favourite characters from the Captain Underpants film and book series combined. And like Madagascar 1 and 2 (2005 and 2008), I'm not really a fan of Captain Underpants (both the book series and the movie) either and I neither hate it or liked it, I'm just thought it was okay. However I found most the characters either one-dimensional, duel or silly, but these two boys are just my favourites from Captain Underpants. I actually also thought Captain Underpants was a funny guy (not Mr Krump though, at least he was better than Donald Trump).
Who I like?:
Shrek from Shrek Forever After (2010)-He is still a cool guy here, but went off way too mean-spirited and cruel in some of the scenes (this version of Shrek is at least not as bad as Buck Cluck from the Walt Disney Animated Canon's 2005 film Chicken Little). After all, he is still one of my childhood friends and heroes, but can be overprotective at times.
Alex from Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted (2012)-I neither disliked him nor liked him in the first two Madagascar films, but in this one he actually much more likable and his character has been improved. He could of done better though.
Roddy St. James from Flushed Away (2006)-Roddy would have a nice relationship between him and Rita and his personality was pleasing enough, but my main problem with him is that he doesn't really have much teeth to my story.
Barry B. Benson from Bee Movie (2007)-He was a very nice guy to me, but my main problem is that the actor who played him (Jerry Seinfeld) did not done a good job performing him properly.
Turbo from the 2013 DreamWorks film of the same name-He sounds like a cool snail to hang out with, but my problem with him is that he didn't really have much personality before he accidentally falls into a fast car to turn him into a fast snail.
Tim Templeton from The Boss Baby (2017)-He looks cute and I thought he was likable in the second half. His dream worlds sound very awesome to be in, but my main problem with him is that he was just a bland, yet likable character with no personality.
Who I am neutral with?:
Shrek from Shrek the Third (2007)-I think Shrek is awesome, but this one is not the case. This Shrek was not likable, though I neither disliked nor liked him. And in the Shrek's Dream scene, he gets attacked by too many children and one part the baby spilled vomit on Shrek (which was the worst scene I ever seen in a DreamWorks film) which I felt really sorry for him in this scene. They are good qualities to him in Shrek the Third such as getting stupid Prince Charming out.
Alex from Madagascar (2005) and Madagascar 2: Escape to Africa (2008)-Yes he maybe one of your childhood favourite characters, but for me not really. He does get stupid in both of the films at times, but he can be charming.
Oh from Home (2015)-Damn it! I really wanted to like this little alien, but it turns out I didn't. My main problem with him is that his attitude is so annoying, but I didn't find him as painful to watch as some bad characters, such as Stanley from A Troll in Central Park (1994). Again like Alex, there are moments in the movie where he gets quite charming and cute.
Who I dislike?:
Oscar from Shark Tale (2004)-Even though Will Smith did amazing as Oscar, I never really liked him at all since the first time I watched the movie as a child. He is the worst DreamWorks protagonist I have ever met, but he wasn't as painful to watch as Stanley from Don Bluth's A Troll in Central Park (1994). There are good qualities to him, such as saving Angie and Will Smith did great as him. However I didn't like at all, I really wished that DreamWorks would try to either make a Netflix series based of the movie and try to Oscar much more likable and/or make another water land animated film that did reach the levels of Pixar's Finding Nemo (2003) and make a likable jerk based of him or something. Though I found Shark Tale to be an average film from start to finished, the main character is not likable at all. No, just no mate. I preferred to stick with his best friends Angie and Lenny (who are easily my favourite characters out of Shark Tale).
I actually own the blank meme.
All protagonists and films are owned by DreamWorks.
I own nothing, I swear mate.
