Magic

Species spells:

Contractual Obligation: A powerful ability unique to Greed demons that takes the form of a soul-binding contract. They can perform "miracles" upon making a deal--granting luxurious wealth in an instant, elevating their signer to supreme power, saving someone’s life, or even something as groundbreaking as bringing the dead back to life. This magic can only be used once per signer, and the person who agrees to the Greed’s contract will be reborn as a demon in Hoil upon death.
Silver Tongue: Greed demons are naturally very smooth talkers and can often convince people with just their words, but even they can’t sway everybody. While not outright mind control, this ability plants desperate thoughts in their victim’s mind, making them more susceptible to their persuasive talents.
Elementals: Water: Jack is able to use water based magical spells as his element of choice.
Track(Greed) Greed demons are able to easily trace people who are desperate enough to make a deal with them. This is how demons so easily find new contracts on different dimensions.

Personal spells/skills:
Potions master: Jack is able to combine the elements and materials needed to make almost any potion. This ability does take time and materials.

Potion types:
Buffs/debuffs
Minor healing potions

Transformation potions: A potion that allows the user to turn into a different creature for 12-24 hours(WARNING: DO NOT TAKE MORE THAN ONE AT A TIME. Permanent side effects WILL occur. All side effects will be decided between the user and myself to ensure nothing that the player will regret happens)

History

1. Living life in the 50's

In the beginning before ever becoming a demon, Jack was a very simple man. Living his life as a cook for a diner where his sister used to work. The two had lived together in a small apartment. Everything was going great in his life, having recently applied for a position at a law firm.
Though not everything was perfect, his sister Glora had begun seeing a man that had always irked him the wrong way. Something about the man didn't feel right, but if his sister was happy then he would do his best to be there for her.

2.Death in the family:
One night when Glora had gone out with the promise of being home at midnight. Jack waited up all night, 1, 2, 3am came along with no sign of his sister. Becoming concerned that something had happened to her, Jack ventured out into the night to go find her. Many hours passed with no signs of her until eventually he found her... Bloody and dead in a ditch, her heart having been carved from her chest and a bloody blade left in her body.
The unimaginable grief he felt seared into his mind. This couldn't be happening to him right now. He didn't know what to do, did he call the police? No, he would take this into his own hands. Scooping up his sister, he took her deeper into the woods. He spent the next couple of hours digging a hole and creating a grave for her. It was then that he found a small paper in her pocket with a phone number on it. Promising anything his heart desired.

3. Take down take down
After returning to his now empty apartment, he decided to call the number on the paper. Like his sister before him, there was no answer on the line. It didn't take long for the demon to arrive in his home. He was taken aback by seeing a mythical being in real life.

"So you’d like to make a wish?” the Demon asked “What is it that your heart desires?"
"To have the means to get revenge on the one who killed my sister." Was Jack's only response. The demon gave him his wish at the price of his soul, but he didn't care. Glora was the only person he had really cared about in the world and she was gone now.
Jack would spend the next 7 years rising through the ranks of a law firm and slowly destroying the life of the man who had killed his sister. He started by causing the man to lose his position at his company. Then proceeded to make sure everyone who know him began to distance themselves from him.
Eventually Jack decided that once he had broken him down to a shell of a man, it was time to finish the job. It was then that Jack snuck to the man’s house in the middle of the night and plunged the same blade used to kill Glora through him.

Once he was satisfied with his work, he pulled out his pistol and shot himself in the head. No point living now that he got what he wanted and lost the only person he cared about.

4. Hoil

After arriving in Hoil, Jack kept his head down in the beginning, he was in a new world and was a brand new creature. He spent the first 200 years of his time in Hoil just trying to get a feel for things, eventually he began making his way to the top of the Greed contract ladder. Eventually when the original Archdemon of Greed had finally decided to give up his position, Jack was right there to snatch up the position.

Jack has been spending his time since then perfecting his alchemy craft and working away as the leader of the Greed sector.
